I’ve only seen a major issue with Hoelbrak which is buildingless for many seconds. Now Black Citadel always took a few seconds to load completely but it was only things like the giant statues.

Same here. Win10, 8g ram, nVidia 750M issues started right after the Season 3 update, I attributed it to an influx of people playing the new content, but it’s been going on for a while now with no change.

To ask that separate sub-forums be made for LW Season 1/2 and 3 so those of us coming back to the game, or those still new to the same, can look for info on Season 2 without being bombarded by Season 3 question titles that are in themselves spoilers? Since Season 1 is all of a cinematic at this point, all it would take is the creation of a Season 3 forum and an hour or two of moving threads into said forum.

Honestly season 1 should have never been temporary. All making season 1 temporary accomplished was alienating players who couldn’t play during the time each part was available and denying future players the enjoyment of the hard work that went into making the content.

As a player having come back from a 3 year hiatus, I can’t agree more with this quote. I paid for the original release three years ago, I’ve picked up the expansion recently and I’d like to think I am actually entitled (I despise that word, but quite frankly I’ve paid for the content) to play the entire story. I’m not looking for S1 to be free, I’d just like it to be available. Since S2 is permanent and S3 as well, there is no logical reason to have made S1 temporary. In fact, in light of the recent reduction in S2 pricing, it’d be AWESOME if they simply made a S1/S2 bundle for the old cost of S2. #marketing

Will LS2 cease to be able to be played once LS3 launches?

I’ve not played in the better part of three years. Found The Heart of Thorns on sale for cheap and currently disillusioned with the other MMOs on the market I figured I’d fire GW2 back up and check it out.

(Edit: I’m on Tarnished Coast, or whatever server ate that one if there were merges) I’m looking for a guild, casually serious if that makes sense, PvX more PvE than PvP but I did love that keg fighting pvp game thing, to this day I haven’t laughed as hard as I did when playing that …

I have an 80 thief, the gear looks decent to me but I’m sure its crappy after all this time. I started a revenant since I assume everyone has one anyway and it sounds like an interesting class. I also have an engineer, warrior, and guardian of low levels, 25 or under.

Oh and don’t forget … Keg Brawls!

12.11 are beta and only for Vista/W7/W8 even. WinXP gets the shaft again.

As that Microsoft is officially abandoning support of WinXP, expect hardware manufacturers to do the same.

There is a bow skin, not sure if its long bow or short bow, purchasable for 150 candy corn in LA near the Mystic Forge.

If you prefer a dead guild chat, crickets in vent and spending your nights spamming zone chat for groups, keep on doin whats doin.

If instead, you want to log in, find 20-30 people online and active with more than half in vent, guild chat scrolling and people looking to group up and get things done from planned dungeon runs to sPvP to WvWvW to the dragons etc … look up Cynical on Crystal Desert.

If you don’t, you only have yourself to blame.

I’ve played a bit of GW1, have been playing GW2 for a few weeks now and pretty settled on my Norn Thief (lvl35) as my main. Looking for a guild of like-minded folks, casual in playtime while cognizant of when it’s the right time to be serious and when its the right time for a good old off color joke.

A MMO veteran of many years (1999 till present) I am more than willing to use voice programs when required, but generally prefer to not be shackled to headphones when simply leveling/tradeskilling/chilling etc.

Willing to flip to whatever server is necessary, assuming I can find said server not “full”
