it probably wouldnt look as bad if there was an empty sheath left on your back, maybe a back item that comes with the sword, empty sheath thats animation is exactly like the swords so no double sheath crap.

this is a feature in minecraft, exactly as you describe, its a cool feature but ppl never use it, and minecraft is a creative game, gw is a combat game where most ppl dont bother to read anything, as cool as it would be i think it would be a waste of the devs time.

I always wonder why ppl find it amusing to lie to new players about mounts,

the truth is there are currently 3 mounts in game, none of which give speed boosts, mainly there just for fun and to look interesting,

Scout mode?

Sounds like a cool idea, maybe when in scout mode every enemy the scout sees would show up on the map for all your side to see,

and how about the scout getting a percentage of ex from enemy players killed that he spotted

I think what would be cool is if the was a new zone like wvw that is for guilds halls, like where the keeps would be there would be a guild hall instead,

the other guild halls in the same map as yours would be decided by active member count,

your guild would be able to upgrade the guild halls to have better defenses and improvements like merchants and bankers,

the guild leader would be able to make alliances or declare war on other guilds and then be able to either visit or raid their guild halls,

there could be objectives like supply camps and dolyaks that capturing would earn your guild money and resources,

the resources that your guild had secured would be stored in the guild vault that would earn interest over time, the longer the resources and money are in there the more you would earn,

the guild vaults can only be emptied to a safe vault that had no interest rate once every hour and not when enemies are attacking, any enemy that manages to get to your vault will be able to loot it,

anyway just a few ideas

I think it would be interesting if all the siege that is suppose to move can (rams, cata and ballista) but can only be built inside towers and keeps, so you would have to travel with and protect the siege equipment on route to the target location,

also make all siege usable be all factions so be careful where you leave stuff of the enemy could use it against you.

Jumping puzzle reward

I was playing on one of the hardest jumping puzzle i have come across, however it was also very enjoyable, it was the obsidian sanctum,

in case you dont already know it is located in the wvw area so its pvp which makes it very hard,

however all the time i was there i only met 1 other person i could fight and he wasnt interested in combat, like me he just wanted to complete the puzzle, so we ignored eathother,

i was very impressed with the puzzle and how well it was made, including an area almost pitch black, and traps you can activate to kill other players, that i started to wonder why such a well made puzzle was all but empty,

it took me just over an hour and a half to complete and what did i find in the reward chest of probably the hardest jumping puzzle in game, a few greens and a blue,

now i am a little new to the game but i was expecting something like a legendary weapon to justify the difficulty of the place so you can imagine my disappointment,

i have been increasingly dissapointed with rewards from jumping puzzles, it just dosnt seem to justify the time spent doing them,

if the obsidian sanctum had a legendary reward the place would be packed with people which would make it much harder due to fighting which would justify the legendary reward and because its in the wvw zone you cant log in there so you would have to re run the puzzle every time.

I have been enjoying this game for a little over a month and so far i have loved it,

I am a big fan of the wvw, i m not usually a pvp fan in games but the wvw is friking awesome, and just yesterday i was traveling about in one of this games fantastic underwater areas and asked myself why they didnt put them together,

The underwater combat is brilliant and well done and looks fantastic, i belive it would be a great addition to the wvw arenas.
