Guild Wars 2

Leveling is a pain until you get the hang of it. My mes is my first toon to 80 and I enjoyed leveling quite a bit. I googled how to level a mesmer and came up with this http://gw2.junkiesnation.com/2012/08/28/leveling-a-mesmer-getting-started-on-your-journey-to-80/ and it worked awesome for me.

Personally I do A LOT of solo work and events. I run a shatter build and when it comes to bosses or mobs that need a little bit more time to run down I just don’t shatter as often. With the pavillon event bosses I shatter even less because my clones die before I can shatter them.

Right now I’m trying to build up my sets knowing I’ll need a few. I’ve got zerker’s and carrion x5 and 1 rampagers. I’d like to start doing a little Wx3 at some point but I know I’ll have to redo my traits for that. As far as weapons I’m building on those too.

I’m mainly looking for something to get me through till my guild does more dungeons and whatnot because I do mostly solo roaming.

@Juno MF is not my goal. I"m just saying if I want to go that way I can use food buffs for it.

Yes I know I need to replace the MF. I’m just cheap and I’m not sure what ascended pieces I want to buy first.

I’m level 80 and I’ve been looking to replace those as i can get MF with food. I’ll look into Knights gear as an option.

So I’ve been playing for about a month and I’ve been running Kai’s shatter build. Thing is I die a lot and I’m looking for a build that has more survivability while I’m out and about because I do a lot of solo in PvE as my guild doesn’t do much in dungeons. I do events and what not. I’ve got full berserker’s gear with a soldiers back and two magic find accessories.

I really like my GS and use sword/focus ans my secondary.

So is there another build along those lines out there that has a bit more survivability for when I’m doing Orr that still has viability in groups?

And yes I have tried other builds but can’t find one that I like that puts out the DPS I’m used to.
