There are big advantages to a PTR I agree. However lets save it for a CDI because it is quite complex.

Thank you for that absolute answer and being patient with us for being temperamental about the vast changes most of which we are “Screaming Bloody Murder” over.

I tried it and got my 8 year old daughter to try it. We both dislike it. In fact its the only time she has ever walked away from a game for being BORING. And no matter that the players are saying on the forums, on Facebook, and in game, Including players that bought the game when it was on the 50% off sale recently, have said if it does not change they will go elsewhere. I had 2 friends buy the game after the patch that are trying to get refunds.

As I stated in another post my 8 year old daughter gave up at level 5 and I know she doesn’t give up easily.

I appreciate the response about the scaling being a bug but, not to seem unappreciative, what about the content gating?

I am also a vet at the game and decided to remake a character today, an engineer, and was actually interested int he tool tips that popped up but on the same note not being able to unlock skills 2 through 5 until I leveled was cumbersome to say the least. Also not being able to even attempt skill point challenges or access vistas ect. was aggravating and as a matter of fact made me shut down the game and walk away for several hours. I logged back in on a older toon, my level 60 ele, and was able to get to 64 rather quickly and was greeted by a nicely done pop ups showing me what I was granted and what to expect next level each time. But on another bad note is I noticed there were even fewer Champs or vets to fight making loot virtually non existent and given the scaling having gear that is more than 5 levels below you hurts you a lot in terms of survivability which of course forced me to use the TP, which was nicely redesigned I might add, and buy VERY overpriced gear just so I wont have to worry about item drops for several levels given I was unable to get a single useable item to drop in all the kills i made.

My hope here is that some thought about the scaling and gating gets kicked around and maybe make leveling pleasant for both New players and Veterans alike.

I get that the 1-15 zones are tutorial areas but at the same time the removal of the only creatures that drop gear isnt jus’t limited to the Oak there are even champs that were removed in the 80 zones like frostgorge canyon.

The Oak event was still a champ yesterday morning at 9am PST. I knew the rest of the Queens train was nerfed.

I don’t know if anyone else noticed but the Champ oak in Queensdale has been demoted to vet and Shadow Behemoth has far fewer champs with him. Does anyone know exactly what champs were removed or demoted this time? It kinda ruins doing events when we don’t get loot or even worse get useless greys that don’t even cover our Waypoint cost.

I think that the search system needs a bit of an upgrade namely it the armor catagory. As it is now I can search level and item quality. I, personally, would like to be able to set it so I can see just one kind of armor (Light, Medium, or Heavy.) and to be able to sort it with at least one stat (Power, crit damage, ect.)

It does not seem to be something that would be too hard to impliment. And as that goes could we also get ascended added to the quality search?

Yup the wallet shows the 1800 gems.

It says I now have 1800 after I exchanged gold. It says I need 1000 to transfer to eradon terrace.

I bought 1600 gems but when I click transfer it says I have an account balance of 0 gems. How do I transfer gems to my account balance so I can change servers?

I still think there needs to be some way for us newer or casual players to learn the dungeons without having to get rezed for dying to something we knew nothing about. I know a lot of you “Hardcore” players love the if you do something “Stupid” you should have to pay for it but all that does is make people not want to try at all. and as we all know doing dungeons is practically all there is for endgame content right now.

Isn’t the next content update February 26th? So we have to wait 2 and a half weeks for this event to come back? Please tell me I am missing something.

Well It has happened again on Ferguson’s Crossing. Brogun is “Heading to investigate the grawl” the totem is still up too.

I agree there needs to be an easy mode so people (like me and other Casual) can have a shot at learning the encounters without having to tab out and watch a youtube video 5 times and hope the boss or mini event goes as it did in the video. It seems that lately the dungeons keep getting harder for instance a level 35 group cannot expect to survive long in AC without being geared and lucky. I also agree that there needs to be a harder mode for those that are crying for a challenge. and both would need their goodies adjusted. Maybe less money/tokens and lower chance of good loot on easy like 10-15 tokens and more of each on hard maybe 80-85 tokens or even special tokens that can only be received in hard modes.

I am also unsure of exactly how to work this combo system if I don’t use the weapons that have a field or only have one such as a elementalist with a scepter/dagger.

Well I looked for a topic like this one before I posted mine and it did not show up. >.< Anyway Ferguson’s Crossing is having the same problem with Scholar Brogun standing at the totem willing to talk to us but wont tell us to break the totem. It froze like this right before the January 10th patch but ofc the server reset fixed him for a few days. Also I do not know if this is related but the Snow Norn Army quest refused to start until this morning. The one right next to the Maw where Rani asks for tattered armor scraps.

You have to change the game resolution. I had the same problem.

The Frozen Maw Dynamic event chain is stuck with Scholar Brogun standing next to the Dragon totem again. this is the second or third time since the patch that removed the wintersday events. He just stands there and no matter what we do including killing him and rezing him work. I am on Ferguson’s Crossing.

Is no one else interested in larger guilds?

Huh? I am not talking about the PvP and WvW player cap. I am talking about the number of people or accounts that can be in a guild…

We regularly Have between 250 and 300 people on during the weekdays and 350 to 450 during the weekends. You should see The Frozen Maw with 125+ people zerg rushing.

But I do see the point of not having everyone stuck in one giant guild. That said maybe we could get some form of chat that can be shared between guilds? You know like the Idea that was brought up for guild alliances so 2 or more guilds can converse without spamming /map or /say.

I suppose This may have gotten pushed back to have not received more views. >.< All I am asking for is the chance for people that want to be in the guild to get that chance.

Ok so the Game has been out for a bit now but we are all seeing new members, especially because of the holidays, and some of us are running very low on room for new players. The guild I am in is sitting at 496 out of 500 and has been hovering around that area for a bit and most everyone is active and we are almost constantly getting asked if we are accepting more people to join. My thought is another buy-able upgrade to our guild cap maybe even a couple of upgrades.
