This is for the post “Tickets for Review” process, and if we cannot make a thread about the ticket which i can understand why, would we be able to ask certain types of questions to the community or even Support in regards of what to do in certain situations

Just curious is there a way to appeal a ticket decision if you feel that the response your getting from support is not good enough. By good enough I mean a detailed answer with actual reasons rather than a one sentence response.

I feel like when I see the one sentence response the person handling the case did not really look at it or even cares

Requesting Account Restoration

Friend suggested I post in this thread to see if the support team is willing to give me a proper response.

So my account has been getting hacked since May of 2014 and so far it has happened 3 times. Each time I get hacked I do what the Support team has suggested with changing emails, not giving out or sharing personal info (which I never do), and using mobile authentication. I got access back to my account thanks to GM Talon but sadly the hackers not only stole everything but this time deleted all my characters leaving me with nothing. Like most the of community I do not like being hacked and understands it can happen and I have taken all the precautions necessary to prevent it on my part but it seems that it still happens. I understand the policy that the support team can only restore an account once, but I hope that an exception can be made in this case. I did ask the support team but it seems I am only going to be getting an automated response from the GMs. I really like the game and have been playing since the early access release. I had a lot of items that would be deemed hard to obtain in game such as pre-cursors and I was in the process of making my second legendary. I would have made this post sooner but due to work and real life I haven’t been able to. Anyways I hope I can get everything back so I can play with my friends again and enjoy the rest of the living story.

This is regarding ticket #819209 I was able to prove ownership of my account after it was hacked for a 2nd time even after I had changed email addresses, added an authenticator and made a new unique password. After getting access to my account I requested an account restoration because all my per-cursors, crafting mats, gold, gear, and gems were all gone. The support team is saying they will not do a second restoration because “Due to the security liability related to compromised accounts, and because of their possible negative impact on the game economy, we cannot offer you another restoration.”

This is very unfair to players whom have had the game since weekend betas and early release. It makes it worse when having to prove ownership for over 3 weeks and being told that everything i worked for will never come back.

I was hacked early August for the second time in 3 months, after almost 1 month of going back and forth with the support team I was able to prove to them that I am the owner of my account, the only issue is that they are not allowing me to restore my account.

I have had this account since beta and horded a lot crafting materials, and even kept 3 pre-cursors in my bank to work on very slowly. Also losing close to 1200g on the account is pretty unfair. To lose everything just because the hacker was able to convince the support team to give him/her access to my account then to be told by the support that “Due to the security liability related to compromised accounts, and because of their possible negative impact on the game economy, we cannot offer you another restoration.” is pretty unfair to players whom have worked hard in game to get what they wanted and to those whom have played the game for a very lengthy period of time. I would be more understanding if I didn’t have much in the game but sadly in this game I did. I had a lot and to lose it all and not get any help from the GMs seems wrong.

I just want to know is there anything that can be done aside from me having to start from scratch which is what I do not want to do.
