I think that Guild Wars 2 should slim down the amount of worlds available and increase the max limit of the worlds. You know there’s a problem when you make a sylvari and literally nobody is to be found in the sylvari biome base. I think you should be able to switch worlds at extreme ease as well and not be tied down to a single world. I just feel like there’s nobody playing, even if there are a lot of people playing, mostly due to the fact that there’s a huge world and there’s nobody out there grinding mobs for materials or anything of that sort. There should only be 3 worlds per country, as in, 3 US worlds, 3 EU worlds, and so on. This would make committing to a world much better because then you have an actual rivalry and will see repeated players in WVW and such. I just don’t feel that sense of community when I log onto Guild Wars 2. Where are the enemy players that everyone sees and runs in fear of them when they’re spotted? Where are the people who are so legendary at the game that people bow down to them when they stumble across their path? Why does there have to be a global trading system in the game that prevents that “face to face” feel when trading someone.
Global trading, aka, the Grand Exchange in Runescape killed Runescape. I think global trading centers destroy video games. I enjoy running around and bartering the price of 10000 cow hides face to face with someone. It’s part of the game that just gets worked around when they incorporate a global trading system. Where’s my community???
