I apologize if I’ve missed this in the stickys.
Its been ages since I played and I logged on the other day to do some SPvP. First thing I noticed was that I no longer had to fully customize my gear. So my question is, how is gear scaled? Does it just take what you have on and scale it to 80 with the stats that’s on it? Or is there some way to customize it to where I could run a condition build even if my normal set for PvE is zerker?
Holy crap Anet. You guys outdid yourselves in this one. Was fighting down tears at the end.
Seriously, great job. Keep it up!
When GW2 first came out, I grinded hard to hit level cap thinking there would be a raiding scene. Yes, I was one of THOSE players. I guess WoW had ruined my impression of MMOs to where they were nothing but grind and end game to me. Naturally when I hit 80 and saw there was no end game scene besides grinding the same instances ridiculous amounts of time to just get a visual upgrade, I kind of backed away for awhile.
However, before I took a break, I tried for 2 weeks to get a group to kill Zhaitan and could not get one. No one was PUGing it! I’ve popped on from time to time to try to get a group at the portal and never had any luck. No one is there.
Is there an easier way to get a group for this than waiting at the instance portal for a bunch of people to gather together?
Nothing =\
I barely log in now. Haven’t been able to get a group together to finish up the last part of my story line and I can’t stand waiting 2-3 hours to get into WvWvW. Dungeons just don’t hold my attention and seem kind of bland. I don’t like the grinding, so getting 100% just isn’t realistic (or getting Cultural gear). Sometimes I’ll hop on, queue for WvW, go play 3 games of League of Legends or read, come back for the queue, run the jumping puzzle, and log off.
Idk, I’m definitely glad to have spent my 60 to support Anet, and the game was definitely worth a playthrough. I just don’t see any longevity in it. I still play GW1 regularly though.
