Guild Wars 2

Hey guys, pretty new to guild wars 2 only been playing since last thursday. Ive been experimenting with classes to try and find my groove and I thought I found it on my elementalist, until I reached about level 9 is hwhen I started getting completely kitten d. Im now up to levle 13 and can’t take on the level 14 krait (im sylvari) without either very nearly dying in 1v1, or getting decimated in anymore then 1.

Dagger and dagger, staff, doesnt seem to matter how muhc I move around and I dodge most of hte big hits, I just get absolutely slammed with damage to the point of not being able to finish a freaking race quest O.o

My gear is as up to date as I can find and I’ve invested points into the toughness traits but with only 1000 health it doesnt seem to matter.

What am I doing wrong?

In advance, sorry for this question because I know its one that probably gets asked atleast once a week. But with the seperate servers I’d rather not dump time into a character if I’m going to discover a kittenty community.

I’m really just after PvE with groups sometimes, some light PvP every now and then too. Really just after a good, fun, friendly and especially noob friendly community.

Also if theres any immediate No-Nos in game or things I should be doing, that would be good too. Thanks in advance.
