Some nice armor combinations in here. I’ve got a few of my own. Hope you enjoy.
From top to bottom: Ele, Thief, Ranger, Necro, Warrior
Oh look, someone who understand basic economic theory. Good job, excellent read. +1
giggle Oh I got some “good” ones.
- Trasmutation charges are now strictly a gem shop item. That’s right you can’t get any from map completion any more.
- MOUNTS, MOUNTS AND MORE MOUNTS! That’s right, even FLYING MOUNTS! SO everyone can get a perma obnoxious speed boost and just fly over Tyria and not bother exploring any more!
- Super Ultra mega level gating! If you thought the NPE was bad, wait until everything gets gated until level 80! woooo! That’s right, you must be level 80 to use the TP, the bank, change weapons, use skills, buy armor, do dungeons, do PS, do LS, etc etc. The only thing you can do at the start is use the Gem shop woooo!
- Every weapon now has only one attack skill and you only press 1 to use it! Why? Because it might be too hard for newer players to figure out that there are more keys on their keyboard! It hurts my brain just thinking about it!
- Raids! You’ve been whining for it and now it’s here! woooo raids! Coming out especially for you WoW fanboys! wooooo!
- The LS changes so that the ELeder dragons start picking off races. Yep, slowly every race is purged from the game except humans! HUMAN MASTER RACE GOOOO!
Well that was fun.
This was a topic I was discussing in guild chat recently. I thought I’d post it here and hopefully get some feedback from the rest of you as well as bring this to the attention of the developers.
Anyway, the new feature patch introduced some great new achievements revolving around collecting things. Some of these collections require account bound only items and a great deal of dedication. So, scrolling through the new AP category I got to thinking “some of these would go great with a nice title.” And yeah, you put in a few which were very nice and thoughtful, but I think it would be great if we had more titles to go along with these now and into the future. I mean wouldn’t it be cool to run around with a title after completing the Ambrite weapon collection? I feel like titles like these would hold more merit in the pve community since some of them can’t just be bought and require a lot of dedicated playing. GW1 had a few titles like these that I enjoyed such as Legendary Cartographer. Since gw2’s end game is more focused on LS and cosmetics, I think that this would be a nice addition for more “end game” type of content.
What do you guys think?
My team just recently did the Thaumanova Reactor Fractal and it bugged out on us at one point, making us all invisible. Furthermore we did not receive our reward at the end of the fractal because the cutscene did not trigger.
I’ve attached an image with my invisible character. (Good thing we all had commander tags)
A guildy just pointed this out to me not too long ago. I came here to check the patch notes and there doesn’t seem to be anything mentioning this. Was this change intentional Anet? I really hope it wasn’t and that it’s just a bug that’ll be fixed. I rather enjoyed the variety of idle animations on my characters and some of them even looked quite cute performing them. An answer on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
What I’d like Anet to give out:
1 birthday booster + 1 RNG minipet gift (like from GW1)
What Anet will probably give us (one of three possible outcomes):
1. Exactly the same as last year’s gift with a different account bound mini (most likely this one)
2. Just the Birthday booster (cuz people be whinin’ and kitten)
3. Absolutely nothing (see above)
I haven’t received my chest either. I play on Tarnished Coast and we placed second, but in my achievements panel it says 1st.
So I was lurking last night and this thread caught my eye. I read it and had a good chuckle. Came back read some more and had another good chuckle. Hopped on TS told my friends, we all had a good chuckle.
Seriously, you guys are crying over Achievement Points? Really?!? Something so insignificant that doesn’t say anything about player skill what so ever you have the nerve to complain about it because, “boo hoo my place on the leaderboard got taken”? That leader board says nothing about you the player other than how much more free time you put into the game, that’s it.
So GW1 vets get an extra 500 APs. So what? If you want them so badly then go buy GW1 and get it yourself. I’m sure you can get a bundle with all four games for $60 now, which is mad cheap. And don’t give me that BS argument that GW1 and GW2 AP’s should be exclusive to each individual game. GW1 and GW2 were to be linked games since before release. Furthermore, if you are going to talk about what’s unfair, it certainly isn’t the 500 extra AP’s but rather the temporary Living story AP’s. The difference between the two is that GW1 AP’s are always obtainable and LS AP’s are temporary and never can be obtained again. So if you’re going to kitten about what AP’s aren’t fair it’s those.
On a final note I’m sure the boost in GW1 AP rewards was to give the vets an extra AP chest, that’s it. The fact that it stirred up complaints over the leaderboards was probably unintentional. If this really bothers you to the core so much then I really feel sorry for you that your lives aren’t exciting enough that all you have to look forward to is some silly AP’s on a video game. That being said there is a simple fix to all of this. Either get rid of the leaderboards, or reset them. Simple. Children these days!
I find it funny that there is no Guild vs Guild battles in GUILD WARS 2.
I find it funny how there are 10 mostly uninteresting dances in GW2 as opposed to GW1’s 20 mostly entertaining/hilarious dances.
I started out hooked. I’ve been playing since the beta, but gradually losing interst. After three months I began to lose interest. I don’t know what it is, maybe the lack of “end game” like so many other complain about, but I don’t feel nearly as hooked as I was to GW1 and I played that game for 7 years. I don’t think GW2 will hold me for even half the amound of time if it keeps going the way it is. Too many things need to be fixed and/or improved.
For instance I really hate the fact that I can’t switch builds on a whim like in GW1. In GW2 a build switch isn’t just as easy as respeccing your traits. You need gear to compliment those traits and gear costs…well money of course, and lots of it. I find myself spending all my time trying to gear up my 80’s to try new builds, and it becomes quite painful when I realize how much money I need to do it. And if I want to give them some nice dyes to color their armor with? lol forget it, another money hole. It makes leveling alts more discouraging when there is that huge money barrier to gear up. This was never an issue in gw1. Max armor was max and aesthetics weren’t as difficult to obtain. Other than that I can’t see much more of a goal outside of trying to gear up/build experiment. I’ve pretty much done everything else as far as pve goes and I don’t care much for fractals.
You know even jeans would have been nice too. I mean come on, after 100 years from gw1 you would think at least someone would have invented jeans. But yeah, pretty much why I don’t use my mesmer much anymore
I just don’t like looking at her armor anymore. I already have an Ele and a necro so yeah, I’ve seen all the armor selections for my mesmer already.
I’ve been getting 3 ectos per rare salvage lately so I don’t know what you’re talking about.
