El Kepón – Sylvari Elementarist
Herr Kepow – Norn Engineer
C’mon, this game has already way too much humans!
I guess it all depends on what look and “personality” you want to give your ele.
A Norn shaman (they got tattoos!), an element-bending Sylvari or an Asura who masters the control of nature are all valid (and kinda cool IMO) approaches to the base class.
I just cannot recomend Charrs for this one, as most light armor looks ridiculous on them.
In fact, if you only want to show around your fashion, Norn is the best choice (as they are bigger).
Just FYI, unless we (the Toast) get our kitten kicked hard this week AND SoS/Mag goes very well, we are having the exact same T1 matchup next week…
kitten , now bushes are getting nerfed, I hope you are happy.
Get med kit, bombs, rocket boots, elixir s and supply crate.
Put at least 20 points in explosives for larger and faster bombs, free to put the rest in whatever you feel better. Wear zerkers and valk.
Smoke field + BOB + rocket boots to get wherever you want stealthy, elixir S for backup if you need.
In case of combat just drop your elite, med kit #5 for fury and spam bombs, everything will be down in no time.
Trait tips:
Tools VI for perma-swiftness,
Inventions in general for crazy survivability (see II for less falling damage)
Elixir I, IV and VI for even better survivability.
(Even the points 20 in explosives are optional if you are just pressing 1 and doing ok, and i think you will)
PS.: If you get healing bombs and backpack regenerator, you may not even need the stealth lol
PPS.: The rifle should be your weapon of choice to get ranged enemies.

The problem with a kit elite is that the whole elite concept is a skill you use to instantaneously give you an advantage over your enemy to turn the tide of a fight.
A bundle elite, though, is a really good idea, just like warrior banners, and I think engineers having a “siege” elite is cool… Mortar is simply very very bad lol.
I guess if they could change it to a “mounted machinegun” where skills 1-4 would be channeled just like FT #1 and skill 5 is “pick up bundle” so you can drop it somewhere else for the duration would be way cooler and possibly functional.
MrForz obviously didn’t read the OP lol
Don’t really like those sigils… Why don’t you try one sigil of renewal (AoE healing on kit swapping) and one sigil of life (stacks healing power)? I mean, a 5 sec random boon just for you isn’t that useful if your team is already killing stuff enough to make a difference.
I would also change protection injection for HGH (try drinking all of your 3 elixirs just before the zerg clash and CC/damage the enemy straight to hell) and you could take a look on kit refinement, the magnetic bomb and the glue trail are good stuff.
I guess you meant engineer, right? lol
And yes, you can do 1 v X better than average. Toolkit and grenade builds are broadly used for that. Elite is supply crate and med kit is the most used healing skill, but the turret and elixir H are also viable, depending on your build and playstyle.
I actually think Elixir X very engineer-y, since we can reproduce some hocus pocus results from other classes with SCIENCE!
(Thinking of elixirs more as carefully researched and developed chemicals instead of magical potions)
I mean, by studying how elementarists can turn themselves in tornadoes, we can do it better than them! (shorter cooldown, same for the other possible elites)
The RNG is kinda lame, though, but I guess we have to live with that, Elixir X rocks.
Really awesome!
Thats kind of Wierd.
Cause as far as i know FX 6100 is really bad bulldozer series which are totaly even worse then Phenom x4/x6.
If I were You ( as You claimed You did not play gw2 for 2 weeks ) I’d check everything I’ve done on PC that could affect the FPS instead of stright forward blaiming patches and company itself.
I didn’t play because I wasn’t even home… Spent hollydays with parents and all that bullkitten heh
And aparently i’m not the only one with the problem.
Oh, and I bought the processor already thinking about upgrading, because of the AM3+ socket
I play Guild Wars 2 for about 3 months by now, always on high settings (except for the shadows) and never had any kind of problem with my FPS (specs below). After about 2 weeks without playing, I logged in, patched the game as asked and, surprise, I was doing 8fps at Lion’s Arch and 10fps at Eternal Battleground, obviously unplayable.
Just for sake of curiosity, I went ahead and changed the settings to the lowest, without much success. (17fps @ Lion’s Arch)
My questions are:
*What did you change recently?
*Why isn’t it in the patch notes?
*How can I fix it?
Specs:
ASUS M5A97 PRO (Yes, everything is on the right slots)
AMD FX-6100 @ 3.30 GHz (I know it was a bad buy and it’s far from optimal, but it worked.)
NVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Drivers checked.)
2×2GB DDR3 @ 1333MHz
Windows 7 x64
It’s also not temperature, already checked.
@Osicat
Sadly, Spotify hasn’t yet launched in my country
But thanks anyway and keep up the great work!
Hey Osicat, do you listen to music while playing? I love the music on your videos and would like very much to take a look at your playlist or last.fm, if you don’t mind
