Nice fights. Sorry I didn’t reply. Didn’t see it. Your build lacks power or crit dmg. I routinely hit double what you’re hitting. As your skill increases, gradually build glassier. You’ll like the result.

And about the might stacking. I suppose that frees up 10 trait points for you, but I just can’t see how a front line ele wouldn’t want 21-25 stacks of permanent might.

I’m curious as to what you’re taking over it

I’m still trying stuff out for the remaining 10 trait points, on my human elementalist im trying protection on aura atm and I’m gradually replacing gear till I get a good amount of damage. On my asura elementalist I actually have 84% crit damage and I can burst pretty well on that one imo.

Could you give me some guidelines as to what in your opinion is a good amount of power / crit damage ratio?

What do you mean exactly? Because the only blast finishers I have are the earth 4 and 5 skill. The 4 skill is the one I try to use for CC while I don’t use the 5 skill that much because you’re a sitting duck when channeling it. (made the mistake of channeling chunning earth a few times in outnumbered fights)

Currently I do not have 30 points in arcana to get the XI trait. So I do not get the earth dodge blast finisher As I said in my previous reply, I try to save earth 4 for the CC and channeling earth 5 gets me killed most of the time. Also the blast finisher from earth 5 does give the “area might” text when you start channeling, but you won’t get the might stacks untill you complete the channel.

Haha no way I’m gonna play piano :p, as for my gear on my asura elementalist I’m using a mix of celestial, cavalier and berserker. On my human I use like 4 different types of gear haha, still haven’t figured out the right build yet.

Once again please give me some feedback on my overall gameplay and video quality. I’ve changed my build multipple times again and I’m still trying to figure some stuff out. Also I’m using different render settings now so the overall quality of the video’s should increase!

These aren’t the greatest clips since I didn’t have a lot of time to play but I’ll hope to get some better clips in the course of the week!

Nice gameplay. If there is anything you could improve on is only doing the burning speed + LF combo when your enemy is far away from you. You’re basically wasting LF for your next burst attempt.

Thanks, I mostly use LF for the little bit of extra burst damage, which is probably the reason I’m overusing that skill. I’ll try to see how it plays out when I use the skill less

I heard that I could overclock my CPU, my question would be how to do it and how high can I overclock it without replacing the standard CPU fan.

Shoutout to Arbor Stone, run away from each and every fight (unless they pulled their massive blob from all other maps). Hide into towers each and every time we see them, and building kittening superior ac’s IN EACH fight we’re in. GG much skill such wowe.

Underworld just doesnt have coverage, we are stuck on very high and have been for the last year so we havent had any transfers really.

anet broke uws population and is really slow to fix it :P

WvW is fine for me and my guild due to our size, but the others struggle to get an organised zerg going which is a reason so many left.

We will see :P im sure i can come and cap more of your stuff like i did on eb last night.

I didn’t see you in EB last night :o I was commanding for like 8,5 hours straight in EB lol xD. Also my guild [Blöd] isn’t really struggling either, most of our members are active WvW players ^^

I would just like to say that I’ve had blast yesterday night! Was commanding for pretty much 8 hours straight in Eternal Battlegrounds and we’ve had some pretty awesome fights in there. Also we’ve finally managed to get a pretty decent zerg! (que in EB at 1am lolwut).

Tbh i found FR players to be generally better than UW. Both servers are quite zerg heavy, it’s only more obvious for Ranik because of their numbers.

I was gonna post this a while ago but here I go anyway, I’ve bough an Intel core i5 3570k processor and an Asrock Z77 Pro4-M motherboard. I can play guildwars 2 on ultra settings fine now. Thanks to everyone that helped me solve this problem!

Okay, so this just happened: Bravost north wall got trebbed from the small hill near umber. And for some reason they managed to port people inside the tower through that broken wall… Now I’ve walked around the tower a few times and in my opinion it doesn’t seem possible to get inside the tower through the north wall. Anyone might explain this one to me?

Hello everyone, I’m trying to set up a 15 or 20 man guild group for our server since we have lost some of our most dedicated WvW guilds. I would like to ask you guys for advice as in group composition (which classes and the amount of them) for both a 15 man and a 20 man guild group. And if possible some example builds to run in these groups for the classes. This would really help my server and me out a lot!

So to clear things up for me, the following setup should give me about 30 – 40 fps in wvw zerg fights on ultra settings, and it’s all compatible with eachother?

You are told why but you don’t seem to believe it. That CPU is similar to the A8-5600K with no GPU, a lower base clock but a higher turbo clock (not that it’ll matter when running the game).

You are looking at similar CPU performance to an Intel i3-3240. The game is a lot more CPU dependent rather than GPU which is why it seems it’s performance is subpar even with a 270x when compared to other games especially FPSers.

So basically I should replace my CPU and with that my motherboard? If so do you have any suggestions for them? My budget is like €300 max.

So I did this burn in test you suggested, and to me it seems that there are no problems with my hardware or anything.

I did not have any antivirus or anything installed yet so that doesn’t seem to be the problem either.

As for windows telling you your drivers are up to date that has never worked, you need to go to the manufactures site and check for update drivers. Also the PCIE x 16 in some instances it has gotten changed in the bios to x4

Drivers seem to be up to date, GPU is in the pcie x16 slot and I can’t seem to find any option in the BIOS that might have changed it to x4. Do you have any other suggestions?

Unfortunately it may be the AMD CPU the game is not optimized for them. You should have gone with an Intel I5 or better. There are a few thing you can do to improve FPS, are all your drivers up to date including the commonly overlooked motherboard drivers check you bios and make sure the PCIX 16 is set up right, is the video card plugged in to that slot. Did you run any burn in test to make sure that all the components are working properly, it is critical on a new build to run these tests to see if there are any defective components these test should be ran for 24 hours or more. there is industry stander testing software you can download for free that is excepted by most component manufacturers for reason of exchange or RMA of defective components. What apps and programs are running in the background while you are playing the game hopefully you are paying on a clean install of Windows since this is a new build. As a last resort you could try to over clock your CPU but not if you absolutely sure on how to do this and you have a really good cooling system for your CPU the stock heatsink and fan is not recommended.

For as far as I know all my drivers are up to date, I’ve checked that in device management on windows. The only driver that might not be optimal is my GPU driver, since the only driver I could find for that is a Beta version from the official website.
My GPU is installed in the PCIE x16 slot, could you explain to me what you meant by setting it up right in the BIOS?
I did not run any burn in tests, I’m downloading PCMark 8 right now and will run that test when it has finished downloading.
I don’t really run any backgroud applications except for google chrome, skype and teamspeak. And I did do a clean install of windows 7.

Hi all, yesterday I’ve received all the parts of my new pc which I put together after that. When I started playing guildwars on my new pc I can’t seem to get above 40 FPS on lowest settings. I’ve been trying to fix this for hours but I really don’t know how anymore.
