Guild Wars 2

There’s actually quite a few of these threads spread about the suggestions board – I’ve heard tales that anet has been “working on it” but I am not sure because I haven’t been able to personally find a developer response. Either way I do very much agree with these suggestions – I posted on a thread earlier saying that adding a simple “last logged in” function would at the very very least help a ton with guild management. I’m not going to call any of the developers out for being “lazy” or any some such because they have to deal with enough baby tears about a lot less reasonable things, but it’s still rather bothersome that this function doesn’t exist yet.

Wow – as a side note, I cannot even believe this thread is already 10 months old and nothing has been done about this yet! That’s pretty impressive and not in a positive way, lol.

I’m only saying something pretty much everyone else has – but on that note, I totally concur with everything everyone’s been saying. As has been stated previously, at the VERY VERY LEAST could we please get a “last login date” confirmation on the guild UI? Me and other officers in the guild along with our leader have been in a state of trauma from not knowing what to do about inactive player kicking. Our current and ONLY method of checking on when people last logged in is to go to the leaderboards achievement panel, select guild, hope to god the tool works (it never has for any of us) and then scroll over each individual name to check the date. Last time I tried this it didn’t even show guild members, half the time it showed random people in my friends list instead of people who were actually in the guild.

PLEASE anet improve some of the guild UI – at the VERY very least please add in a last login date.

Just re-did it. Got all the baubles and also got the achievement, and I didn’t do anything different from yesterday. Guess it was indeed the disconnect. Thanks again akamon for letting me know, it’s good to know for future reference.

Hello. This is my first time posting to the forum as I feel like this may be an issue that may have affected many but perhaps no one has posted about it yet. I haven’t seen anything like this on here yet, anyway, someone please redirect me if there’s already a post and I had overlooked it. Anyway -

I just got done completing w2z2 in what shouldhave been a complete run for the Bachelor of Baubles achievement. I did this with a friend so we could carefully check every single bauble to make sure we got all of them. We got up to where you need to backtrack to the shortcut eagle, and both got on the roof. I got one bauble there, then tried to get another and disconnected. Lucky me, if you have a friend there it supposedly does not erase your progress. I go in, go back and re-complete the shortcut eagle. I carefully look on the roof to make sure I get all the baubles. The one I had gotten before remained gone, so clearly the game knew I had counted it. We get the last bauble before the boss and defeat it. My friend got the achievement, while I did not. I believe this is because I had disconnected while almost at the very end of the level, which is very disappointing.

I know this is probably going to get flamed as stupidity because I “missed a bauble somewhere” but I assure you I did not – I really do think there was some kind of miscommunication within the connection. Before I d/c’ed, we both got the eagle achievement and the achievement for killing every ninja, as well as the bachelor of secrets for that level as well, so I assure you we really did check every single corner and get every single bauble.
