Couldn’t agree more. It’s happened to me when I’ve accidentally tagged an event, run away an then 10 minutes later when someone else completes it I’m getting a gold reward for it… makes no sense.

At the opposite end of this spectrum is spending half an hour of your life with the laggy dragon battles only to be dc-d somewhere near the end and end up with no rewards/chest, which has happened to me numerous times. Obviously my connection is not perfect, but it’s good and stable, and this is very frustrating. I know dc’s can be put down to bad luck or a bad connection, but the game really should be able to track your contribution and reward you even in the event of a dc.

The Dynamic Events are my favourite part of the game and the main reason i bought it, but the way they keep track of who gets what reward is strange, an often leaves me angry an frustrated when I’m on the wrong end of it, an baffled and amused when it goes my way.

Please sort this so people are getting rewarded correctly for the time and effort they put in.

I bought the recipe “Darkvine Gauntlets” from Wyld Hunt Valiant Caillech in Caledon Forests but it didnt show up in my Armorsmithing tab. I think it might have shown up as “Duelists Chain Gauntlets” instead, which have a +2 condition stat on them.
I’m a Lvl 22 Human Guardian, so maybe that has something to do with the difference in name, maybe it shows up as the human recipe name?

Haha yeah i wasn’t that silly Jayne I think it might be a bug, i just found a recipe for “Duelists Chain Gauntlets” which could be it, it’s got +2 condition on it, but the discovered condition ones all say “malign”.
I think maybe because I’m human but i got the recipe in the sylvari start zone it gave me the human recipe name? Only thing i can think of at the mo.

So i bought the recipe for Darkvine Gauntlets from a karma vendor and learnt it, but it’s not showing up in my production tab.
Does this mean i have to discover it as well as having spent karma on it? If so shouldnt it at least give me a clue of the mats? I’m guessing they cant be too rare because it was learnable by a 0 level armorsmith, but i’ve tried all the combinations available too me and i’ve had no luck.
Any help would be appreciated, I’m sure I’m just missing something obvious
