We are working with our content delivery provider on resolving this.
We think we have flushed the corrupted files.
Are people still blocked on this? If blocked, you can try adding this temporarily to your Guild Wars 2 shortcut:
-assetsrv drwkwiejruot6.cloudfront.netPlease let us know if the problem went away. Or if not, did the work-around solve it for you. You can also reply directly to me in the forums.

But 5 days for Anet to get onto this issue and inform your customers, not good. .
By providing this inferior customer service, you may have lost customers that were coming back to the game and some playing the game ..

@Mark Katzbach, just to let you know that I tried this solution however windows keeps telling me that the commandline is ‘not valid’.
and its still “not working”
-log must ne behind the " if there is any behind your gw2.exe
so “c:\gw2\gw2.exe” -log instead “c:\gw2\gw2.exe -log”
Thank You mate i worked it and posted my log:)
But it am still can’t log on it has been over 30 hr for a lot of player that can’t play.

You might consider reading the Dev posts about this issue in the other thread, rather than creating another and waiting for a similar post. Or, just try the Dev Tracker; always helpful information there.

So why dos it take 24 hr to see there is a prob for players in Australia.
Ooo we aren’t American and there for of less importance to ArenaNet, but no way would that be the case.
So that’s why have Account & Technical Support area they don’t read.
It’s 3 day before you can post it, This issue has been on the forums for 24hr or so.

That would be good mate if i could get into the game to post a Ticket.
22 hr trying to log into the game the last file goes to 0kb/s and doesn’t finish with 3 files left.
There has been NO info given and a big F all help from Account & Technical Support.
Its been down for 17 hr + now mate.
Anet just don’t give a _ it is Australian player prob mainly.

None i cant log on.
It would be nice if Anet was able to get players to Log on before they stuff around with other things in the game.
I think Logging on is a higher importance.

Hi i see that this has been a prob for more then 5hr, how come Arenanet have not let us Know what is the prob and when it will be fixed.

I have come to the point there I have used all of my Central Tyria Mastery Points and the XP has nowhere to go because I don’t have the Central Tyria Mastery Points to spend.
The ArenaNet accountants are just trying there little hearts out to sell the Living world season 2, as it is the most obvious way to get Central Tyria Mastery Points when you start looking into your hero tab.
I just came back to the game after a break and bought HoT (Which is just a XXXX jumping puzzle) why in the hell should I pay more for Living world season 2 so I can have Central Tyria Mastery Points.
Im getting sick of ArenaNet very quickly.
Its a waste off cash and time, It is just one big jumping puzzle with very poor lay out.
One would think that the lack of players in Dry Tops would tell them that a lot of players dislike that kind of game play.
2 out of 10.
Hi I have had the same crazy lag and so on, as has most of my guild that i have talked to.
its all most unplayable.
Finishing is a BS PVP thing not a PVE thing it only slows the game down.
If i want to PVP ill do it for the love of god stop trying to get players to start doing PVP.
The only PVP i do is a cheap way the get to LA.
