Additionally, I have recording and editing capability.

I have had my time put in organizing and/or running GvG guilds. I am not looking for an “up and coming” guild. I would like a guild with an established core just looking to fill a position. I am willing to transfer wherever and can generate the gold myself but would appreciate help if possible.

I am available most days of the week during EST evening to late times. I main necro and can efficiently play Ele, Gaurd, and can theif if need be but not preferred. Warrior is in progress.

EVERY SERVER HAS PEOPLE WHO DO UNSATISFACTORY THINGS….move the kitten on lol. Posts like this is why match-up threads will be no longer. I’ve watched people from every serer attempt some sort of exploit at some time including my own. It’s childish to make a statement “must be desperate” as if you don’t have one person on your server that is doing something of this nature every day. If I posted SS here every time I’ve seen an ET attempt this I would be infracted for spam. And once again that goes for every server including my own…people will do what they want…move on.

That you have the most terrible players on your server. The 1v1 people who just kill you and leave are fine but soon as its 1v3 or 1v2 the other useless person that probably did nothing has the urge to jump on people.

I could care less of you sf people crying on here about getting tbagged because you guys do it more then anyone ive seen. So please do not come here to qq about getting tbagged when your players do it non stop.

Any time I see someone complain about corpse jumping or emotes or anything of that nature, I picture this person getting so mad as it happens (enter wow kid shoving remote up kitten reference here) that they then have to walk around their room…sit down and then attempt to act as composed as possible as they try to think of a clever way to say “I’m raging i was killed when odds were against me so this must mean you suck at this game and have real life issues”. Gets even worse when they are angry enough to claim a specific server does it more than others as if they are present during the entire population’s presence and can make an accurate judgment of such.

Seeing SF absolutely fall flat on their faces has kept me going during this terrible week of finals. It truly warms my heart seeing you guys getting stomped beneath the mighty boot of Anvil Rock. The garbage that is CoSA and the surprisingly mediocre STaR getting what you deserve keeps me studying. My only wish for Christmas is that HoD follows suite shortly after.
And then we got these AR guys that think that anything but an influx of number (or the other teams lack of numbers) changes a server LOL. Even worse than these guys though are people like this Ganking riding tall on their high horse. Watch out guys he’s a “WvW Mesmer commander”!!! Son don’t try to preach to me or Kaineng about not giving up. You think Tier 8 is your home. But AR merely adopted T8; Kaineng was born in it, molded by it. We didn’t see Tier 7 until we were already men, and by then it was nothing to us but blinding! So please get off the horse and stop your preaching

Agree %100. All of us….even the people who are not bad apples, are holding back our excitement as it is still a short wining streak as well as we wouldnt want to jinx it.

Personally I dont care what league rank we are each week, as long as we actually have the cooperation and communication we have now. Previously we just simply got beat down while having a somewhat hostile community. Everyone is now starting to work as a unit so as long as that continue’s I will enjoy WvW as much as we all are now.

I appreciate the advice and hope others do too, and hey…maybe after investing that advice you might wanna see what it looks like from the other side of the rock. lol

Ok so in all honestly…the few AR that are still on this thread being all preachy…PLEASE…kitten…this is from your fellow Anvil Rockstar. Stating we didnt get many xfers once or twice is one thing…lets leave it at that. So as nicely as I can put it…please for the rest of this thread kitten about who has the better “strat skilzzzz”.

Agreed. Leagues definitely and obviously did the opposite for AR. We gradually got higher and higher morale until the league finale and everyone just blew up with excitement so now people are eager as hell to log on, jump into TS and jump into WvW which was quite the opposite a month or two ago. And as I noted earlier, there has been some pretty intense races with SF so far so hopefully scores dont discourage people too much. Being from AR we all know the “well looks like WvW is dieng…time to pve” thought process….BUT YOU MUST FIGHT THE URGE!!

Not entirely sure who this is, but I do see a few TCR. I do apologize on behalf of AR for trashy players like this…but as we all know everyone has them. =/

It is a running joke in TS about numbers we get in transfers. Really no one knows and we haven’t gotten that big wvw guild to “carry” our server. We are getting the refugees of wvw. A few people here and a few people there. Anyone that comes over to AR will understand our defensive priority. ET and DR were class acts when they lost to us and GoM thought we got huge numbers because…we beat ET and DR. Come on man! Bob you really think people transferred over by the truck load after beating those servers (no disrespect to ET and DR). Again refer back to our match ups and you can see steady improvement. We have never denied transfers, we just don’t know how many we have. Why can’t people admit that we stepped up our game? In that regard yes everything has changed. Our attitude, our coverage, our TS usage, our zerg busting, our defense, our offense, our reset nights etc…have all changed since we last fought SF. Just admit it…or maybe you can transfer over here and we can teach you guys how to play in wvw (lol I just kidding but sounds familiar right).

StaR gg on the Garrison cap last night. If we didn’t have SF inner garrison down to 15% maybe more people would of came back to stop you. After the garrison race we managed to cap OL. I thought maybe you guys would come for it but whatever. Cheers to the rest of the week!

I really wasn’t trying to take anything away from you guys, it is obvious you have done some work. It is a problem with every server, not just AR, people always want to act like: “What we don’t have any more people”…When it is obvious to everyone else that you do…Even more so fairweathers ruin the bronze tiers, make matches hard to get a handle on and one week blow a server up and the next cause it to almost fully crumble. Regarding transfers it was our understanding some of your old guilds have came back, rather than a boatload of transfers etc.

The only real applicable statement here is “old guilds have came back”. But lets be specific….One of our old guilds has come back. They pull around 10 max a night(yes oceanic). Transfers to our server account for MAYBE 10% of our success. The remaining 90% is due to cooperation between the people that were already here and the incorporation of TS. With the effort of a lot of the core WvWers we have developed a very large TS community and are able to train any newcomers to WvW efficiently while being able to coordinate our numbers actively in BLs so we dont wipe at any encounter of resistance. The majority of the claims are “you got oce xfers so we cant do anything when we are sleeping” however even during prime time AR held highest PPT for a majority of time even pushing SF below Kain at which point they gave up stacking AR and harassed Kain.

However I do agree AR does NOT need to start chest bumping…yet…but I certainly will not have all the work the core WvWers put into the success we have now downplayed by some discouraged players in denial.

Lets be sure to not feed the trolls kiddies. Just move on.

For AR: WAR – MERC is recruiting WvW adult players. We are one of AR’s oldest and best know guilds (for good or bad). Adults only in WAR and we require full time account rep with ALL characters. MERC is WAR’s part time auxillary for WvW players from other PvE guilds who want to run strong in WvW.

WAR – MERC hosts the server Teamspeak (300 slots), and ALL guilds are provided private channels. Multiple Commander channels, organized assaults across BL’s.

Otherwise…awesome match-up. Not sure what the deal was with ET bringing Omega’s out of spawn continuously while our group was just outside. Trolls destroying someone else’s Omegas?

It was on AR BL…right at the exit of ET spawn. Originally we were at SE tower. We seen orange swords at SW tower so we went straight there instead. On our way we caught 3 omegas prancing around with some strays escorting them to who knows where. After killing those we continued on to SW tower and found two more omegas exiting ET spawn while a few ET attacked the SW tower gate. Killed those two omegas as well. THEN two MORE omegas came rolling out of the spawn and we downed them just before making it within range of legendaries.
Cant think of any reasons other than trolling or complete ignorance by a new player too excited to get in a golem lol.

Just wanted to give a shout out to [ASH] and friends. Some great fights tonight. I know you guys where outmanned but most of my group wasn’t coordinated.( on TS etc) But some really great fights and entertainment. =D
