I’m going to drop this one here, if I am missing something feel free to let me know.

My issue is with the inquest mobs at the Jinx Isle location found in Malchor’s Leap. I have been at it for about an hour now because the last way point I need is within there.

However, every time I enter the facility and begin killing mobs for the event regarding gathering encryption crystals the mobs keep “evading”. There is no buff on the mobs, there is no debuff on my avatar. It is, to put it lightly, frustrating. I have been getting killed in there PURELY from the mobs constantly evading all the damage I am dishing out save for the elite skill Whirlpool and a couple of AoE abilities.

I am being dragged downwards due to some anchor like ability rendering me unable to do anything for approx. 5-10seconds. There is no debuff so cleansing fire does not work, and there is no graphical effect to show it this anchor like ability. The only thing that works is Mist Form and that has a cooldown.

Infact, I could cope quite nicely with the anchor like ability if the god kitten mobs would stop evading all of my damage output. There isn’t anything to show for it. They sit there dealing damage to me and evading everything I do to them to the point of becoming untargetable.

To clarify they are not dodging. They are evading, like when a mob is pulled too far and starts running back to its original location, only difference here is the blasted things carry on dealing damage.

I had a search through the forums to see if this has alreayd been posted and the most recent I was able to find was dated back in November 12th 2012.

The event is the one at the East End Tunnel location in the Brisban Wildlands asking players to destroy Fissures and then follow up to a Veteran Destroyer Crab. The current situation is 3/4 fissures have been destroyed with no location or sight of the fourth one within the event area.

Hi all,

The elite Elementalist skill Whirlpool is not displaying the graphical effect. I can’t say for sure in terms of after which patch it stopped doing so as I haven’t been on much due to other commitments. The damage and other effects of the skill are still being generated and applied normally, it is just the graphical effect that is not occuring. My character also disappears from the screen.

I figured I would leave it a while just in case it was being handled.

Though I can say for sure this started for definite before 14th December.

The skill Tornado (when used out of the water) displays fine, as does all the others.
