Almost every exploration path are perfectly doable with a bit of training. Tho, you might need the help of a few friends for some events (CoF p1 if you don’t skip, Tar in Arah p1, and a few other examples).

Couldn’t live with my previous record (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/Vs-Solo-AC-Story-5-12-Restricted/) and the awful 6th boss. That being said the 3rd one in this run is still pretty sloppy if you ask me. I’ll try and push the sub 5 in the coming days.

I really appreciate the initiative, a lot of things have changed since the last ruleset. I’ll try to be as concise as possible explaining my own opinion.

Regarding Fractals, I think we should only consider highest level for each environment.
First of all, this will limit the number of possible records to the number of different maps, there will be a lot more competition, if we allow the 100 levels we won’t see a previous time being taken down every now and then. Also, highest tier fractals are the more interesting maps, strategy wise and group comp wise. And I don’t think getting enough AR is that much of a pain in the kitten when you’re motivated and determined doing a record. Hence I will go for the (b) option.

Regarding legendaries, I agree that doing a record is an investment and I don’t mind spending hundreds of golds for new ascended items, runes, sigils, food, or whatever. But I don’t like the RL Sport comparison for the reason that, in real life, you get sponsors. As far as I’m concerned nobody ever paid my sacrificed force sigils or full strength/scholar runes sets. I also like the doping comparison. Anyway, if you have legendaries you can afford a 100g ascended weapon, but I feel like 3000g is too much of an investment just to take down a record.
Of course, the simplest solution would be to hope that the bug will be corrected soon. No harms meant but, I’ve been playing Gw2 for a long time and I sort of lost hope to see many bugs ever corrected. Lupicus has tons of bugs since the day he was implemented and they are still there (invisible Frienzy Blast and stuff). Only a small amount of instances are concerned (the first 5/6 dungeons), and we are the only ones who care about this bug. Regarding how much Anet likes us (ice-bow-nerf-announcement-while-dropping-my-mic-like-a-thug here I come) I don’t think they will fix it any time soon.
Hence, I think we should forbid legendaries and ask the players to just put the cursor on their weapon on the PoVs. Okay we won’t be able to know for players who don’t have PoV but most of us do in records, and the record system has always been based on trust right?

Regarding raids now. I think both full wing and one boss clear are interesting. Just to see the team comp adjustments that are made to take down a full wing as fast as possible (forbidding switching between bosses, obviously). I have no opinion regarding low man parties, except maybe they should be considered the same way as low man dungeons records.

Finally, I think duo/solo rules are fine as they are. Allowing tons of interesting consumables while forbidding stuff like the executioner axe.

I dont remember him asking for builds, just what to solo. :/
And that would be soloing and selling arah p2/3. P1 is less worth doing because of the tar which you will need help with. P4 is doable but not worth unless in duo or trio.

If i have the bloodlust sigil on my axe, and have a undead/force GS as you suggest, will the power from bloodlust still be active while i’m using my GS?

Not a while ago i started trying out soloing dungeons, and mostly arah; but without knowing exactly why, i still didn’t figure out how to get the best dps possible.
Being more specific : my 100blades goes up to 30k, and even 20k on arah p2’s abomination; but when i watch some videos by Goku or Purplemiku, they hit up to 40k and even more.

Full zerk with runes of strengh. I still have an exo jewel and exo weapones, but everything else is ascended. Lacking sigils are +10% damages against undead. And i use arah potions.

So, looking closely, comparing me and the others, i just need my last ascended jewel and ascended weapones, and offensive infusions… But considering the pretty little difference (~5% between exo and ascended?), i can’t really believe that changing just those will allow me to earn the lacking 10k on my 100blades…

Moreover, i have one more question : sometimes i happen to see a “glancing” on the mob i’m hitting, allong with a huge decrease of damages. I never see such a thing in other speedrunners’ videos. How can i avoid them?

My GS is volcanus, and i don’t really feel like crafting a second one. x) Guess I’ll just swap the bloodlust on my sword and put the undead sigil on my GS replacing bloodlust.

I’m wondering about how do sigil work? I’m not sure whenever they proc or not.

On my warrior, i play with both greatsword or axe/sword.
My greatsword has two sigils, one of fire causing a fireblast when i crit, the other of blood lust.
My axe has a fire sigil, just like the greatsword.
My sword has the air sigil, causing a lightning strike when i crit.

Since the sword is off-hand, will the lightning strike only proc on crits with the 4? Or also if i crit with my axe? Nonetheless, will bloodlust still be active with my axe/sword set? Or only with the greatsword?

Moreover, i own an undead slaying sigil, increasing damages against undeads, which i’d like to use to help me in Arah, but i have no clue where to put it.
If i put this sigil on my one handed sword, which damages will be increased? Only the damages i do with my sword? All damages whenever i’m using axe/sword? And all damages even with the greatsword?

I’m looking forward for your responses.
