:) It should be noted that this crashing problem within HoT has been fixed, at least for me. The mini hotfix patch that was prompted around 24 hours after the patch dropped fixed it completely. However, my mastery bar/points are still wonky and telling me I’m stuck at 90%, but I did two huge events and did not crash. Hopefully the experience bar will fix itself over time as I finish content and gain levels.

EDIT: Still can’t put in mastery points or use gliding unfortunately.. will update once I get more levels ..

EDIT 2: Unable to earn any mastery points on any track… completely screwed now.. Gonna have to enter a support ticket..

I’ve been experiencing the exact same thing as the people above me ever since the new patch hit. I’ve repaired my client 3 times, restarted my computer and even gone as far as running it in compatibility mode for windows 8.

I believe it’s this patch… my friend and I have been playing along side by side, our computers are powerful enough to handle the game just fine outside of HoT content on Ultra/High graphics, so it is not a memory leak.

The same glitch occurs for me on my experience bar for gliding/mastery, where it fluctuates to random little numbers every time I get some experience ON TOP OF WHICH – every time a get a big boost of experience from an event or a quest done, my entire game freezes and crashes.

And it’s not coincidence either, our clients crash at the literal exact same time during these little events while we’re talking on skype – so it’s clear that this is an in-game issue.

… Please sort this out .. I just want to get my gliding in Tyria and get my Chronomancy unlocked ; ;

EDIT:
My friend and I both use Windows 10, while our other friend who is levelling with us uses Windows 8 and is not experiencing any issues.
