Guild Halls, and the One-Man Guild.

As a person that has played a bunch of mmo’s before … i agree .. guild halls should be available to small sized guilds too , i used to love a big community .. loved having a bunch of people to talk to and run instances with .. but then life happened , i got a kid and had to start working , ofcourse i want to play games and i do every night for atleast 4-5 hours , on weekends about 7 hours which i think is acceptable , but having a busy schedule having to work and waiting for my kid to sleep i cant run instances or do events or whatever when everyone else does … in big guilds not everyone is always happy hence why they leave and look for other guilds also why the guilds have to compete with each other for members , in the end you go on a hunt for a guild that suits ur time schedule but u end up wasting soo much time (that u dont have anymore) to find a guild that works with u .. there’s so many different people in a game … which is why games have so many classes to suit people’s needs .. Anet needs to take in account people’s different time schedule’s and comfortablity , where i used to love hundreds of people’s conversations .. now i just want a small group who i can connect to and not be bothered with other people’s drama.

Best way to farm HP?

If you’re 18 and this is your first character, you should just focus on enjoying the game instead of worrying about hero points honestly.

I have a lv 21 ele , i know its still low but when i saw a ranger elite spec is a druid .. i just had to start over and make me one ive always been a healer in all the mmo’s ive played so i think ill enjoy the game most when im saving people … im so hyped on healing people i just cant wait to hit 80 and heal the kitten out of people .. (yea i just used the word kitten…reading forums is already rubbing off on me) … so i wanna make sure i have enough HP when i hit 80 i wont have to kill myself getting the extra HP thats left to be able to use my elite spec … hence im looking for the most efficent way to gather HP but also level relatively fast .. since im playing with my boyfriend and his friend and they have this leveling competition going lol …

Good luck!

Also FYI, when you unlock Druid it gives you an Exotic-rarity staff, and unlocks a collection that (with time and work) eventually gets you an Ascended-rarity one. (This is the case with all elite specs, with their respective new weapon.) You won’t have to worry about keeping one around for eventual use.

If you find one you like the look of, though, especially if it’s not too valuable on the market, consider equipping/salvaging/adding it to your wardrobe. You won’t be able to resell it on the market, but that way you can use the look later with a transmutation charge and you don’t have to have it cluttering up your bank.

you have no idea how your posts has helped me ^ ^ really .. its highly appreciated ^ ^ its gonna save me so much timeVote Cdoto for president .. xD

There’s going to be a lot more involved in any legendary than crafting, so I wouldn’t stress over it.

The bottleneck is going to be gold, and barring a crazy-lucky rare precursor drop, you’ll need to work for a while getting all the mats(/the money to buy them) after you hit cap. Before you hit 80, you won’t be able to do most of the highly-profitable stuff, so the best thing you can do is probably level.

Levelling a craft skill is a fairly easy and quick way to get xp, but also a relatively expensive one… remember, every mat you use levelling is (a fraction of a) gold you didn’t make, and almost nothing crafted will sell for appreciably more than the mats.

I’m aware that makes it sound like a joyless process. I can’t actually in good conscience recommend making what I describe above your guiding philosophy. That’s just the best advice I know for making a beeline from start to legendaries.

Artificers do indeed make staves so you need that for Nevermore. You will nees other weapoms too. Rangers use both huntsman and weaponsmith things. Choose one of those or Leatherwork ro make armor.

Thanks to both of you very much appreciated .. saved another noob for doing things the wrong way xD … i know now what crafting professions to take .. and i know now it’ll be better to level as fast as possible then concentrate on legendary’s. thanks again ^ ^

I know this is a stupid question so if you want to leave a sarcastic comment , please feel free to move on and pretend u never saw this .. i’m quite new at the game but with recent experience in mmo’s i know if i want to be able to craft a legendary item i can start collecting resources from a low level and gather gold etc. i guess my question is , i’m leveling a ranger for its elite spec , i want to heal .. but i know they use staves what crafting profession do i level to be able to make “The Nevermore” Legendary staff when it comes out ? … i tried to google it and stuff but there’s not a lot of info on it since its not out yet … i know artificers make staves but i just wanna make sure and is there any crafting profession that goes well with artificer ? (if that’s the profession i need). thanks alot in advance
