Alright I’m sticking with staff for now. Should I also get the earth shield?

Hey. I’m fast approaching my first level 80, an elementalist. I haven’t done much dungeons as most of the groups wanted max level or players with lots of AP. I’ve been using a staff to level so I could easily kite melee and are now not sure what I should use. What weapon do you recommend for dungeons? Thanks for advice

I haven’t been playing long and just discovered that if I don’t sell gear that I cant use to a NPC and instant sell on the TP I make more money. I just cant figure out how much the fees for selling are. An example, I sold some plate legs that I had for 92c. It said there will be a 5c listing fee and a 9c exchange fee. So I thought cool I make 78c instead of 42c. But once I sold, my delivery box had 83c, it was empty before hand as I had just collected from it.
Please help me figure out how much of a cut the TP takes from sales. Thanks

In combat I don’t mind taking the step. That was just an example to explain what I wanted. The reason I want to turn with my mouse is jumping puzzles. Sounds dumb but I like to face the way I’m jumping. Doesn’t really matter if I can’t, I cope not looking the way I’m about to jump

Is there a way to let me turn with my mouse without having to move? I dont have turn left / right bound to anything and that means if an enemy goes behind or to my side I have to take a step forward to face them.
I know right click to turn camera and character but when im not moving right click just turns the camera.

I had a month long issue with GW2 a while back with lag and I submitted a support ticket. Anet support specifically recommended I use a proxy program such as this, so you should be fine.

Can’t imagine why you’d get a warning in WoW either though because it’s not like having “normal” ping should be considered an “unfair advantage” lol.

Lowerping and others like it are not against WoW’s ToS. If you access the same account from different locations far away (going through different proxy server can look like this) in short periods of time your account can get suspended in case you have had your account stolen. Blizzard removes suspensions from accounts but tickets sometimes take over a day.

I thought about using Lowerping but a guildy in WoW said he got warned for using it, I know it’s a different game but don’t want to risk it. I don’t like the idea of having to know what someone will do before they do it, at least not until I get better. Are any classes apart from warrior and guardian ok with 200 ping?

I brought the game a few weeks ago and have gotten bored with my warrior. I’m thinking of making a thief but read that they need to dodge a lot. I live in NZ and have a ping of 200 – 240 most of the time, is that too high to play a thief well?
