8k HP is 80% of an elementalist base health pool at level 80. That’s too much for a game where there is no “healer”. I’m fine with having one combo at a time. And I never have trouble doing my combo blast heals on allies. I do have problem healing people in melee because of the gazillions of combo field there is in melee…
An 80 Ele only has 10k hp??? How does that happen? My necro, with the only +Vit from Blood traits, has 22k.
I don’t pvp at all, so don’t even go there. This works for me, and I enjoy the play style.
Note: I swap back and forth between Flesh Golem, Hounds of Blathazar and Plague Form, just depends on what kind of situation/environment I’m in.
I use it in my pve build to get an extra 4 stacks of bleed onto my target (with a good duration), refill my LF bar so i can life blast a few more times, and in general, ensure that I had 100% LF at all times for when I got in over my head while out enjoying myself. So for me, it will be a small increase in damage, but a decrease in survivability in clinch situations.
I don’t do any form of pvp so I won’t comment on that state.
What I am most sad about is how it doesn’t even resemble the BiP we learned to love/hate in GW1. It was a stretch before, now I think it should be renamed, as its a farce.

Sorry bout the dagger post. Wasn’t positive about the dmg. But it seems i hit 2 times, but now that im not rushing to work that i see it hits 2 times.
Necrotic Slash (first part of the dagger chain) attacks twice, which is why it seems to attack twice.
