Hi again! It’s me, the CAD noob dude here!

It was about time I made another GW2 themed thing, so off to the character creator I went! (which is pretty kitten awesome). I personalised this one by making a copy of guildie’s toon in character creator, and basically had it cut utilising the same machinery I used for the Charr medalion.

I think it came out quite well ^^

I suck at drawing stuff, but know basics of CAD, so I figured I’d take a shot at making something GW2 themed. So I made a charr medalion. And since a guildmate strongly suggested I share it here, there it is!

I made the initial sketch using a screenshot from the character creation screen, and went from there. Once I got the .dwg file out, I got it to a CNC shop to have a look at it (big thanks to 500sparky CNC shop), and cut it out of a single section of 10mm thick aluminium, which proved to be a bit of a cutter killer. They then gave it a single wet and dry do-over for a nice finish.

Nothing fancy, but I hope you like it!
