I really hate when people need a trivial number (ie arena rating in WoW) to make a game worth playing. At the end of the day, you should be playing the game because YOU ENJOY IT and not to see larger crits or purple text on the names of your gear or your pointless arena rating going up. You can become a better player without a rating, prove it to people with action rather than a rating to hide behind.

It is safe to say it now.. GOTY?

How can you even say that you’d be paying $15 a month for a complete game? You’re aware that during the last 8 months of cataclysm, blizzard released no new content while still charging the same fee? Frankly, the mechanics of the game haven’t changed, the only thing that’s different is you see larger numbers on your screen and the game is continually dumbed down.

Why is it that so few engineer abilities can be aimed?

Wow…yep you get it. Fast cast ground targeting had been enabled. Well that was stupid

It seems like any time you’re throwing something as an engineer, it’s trajectory is random EVEN if I’m targeting the person in front of me. I’ve noticed this with grenades, the glue gun, the napalm bomb, any of the elixirs that you can toss, and on a side note: sometime my net gun fires at nothing while I’m attacking someone directly in front of me. Can someone explain at least the first issue of aiming to me?

Not that it’s very significant, but just curious: why after I hit level 80, does my experience bar not go away?

Are you still going to play this in 3 months?

Every game has a finite amount of things you can do, and an even smaller amount of things that would find interesting. Additionally, it is just a game and a free to play one at that; if at some point you find yourself bored, feel free to stop.

Pvp gear?

Looking for some information on the high level pvp gear and just gear in general I suppose. What is the highest color correlating to item level? (white/blue/green/etc.) Also, does anyone know if you can get pvp gear that is wearable outside of battlegrounds, like in borderlands? As of now I’ve just seen the karma vendor which sells yellow items but they don’t seem that great; they’re called the “invaders” set.

Agreed, needs a fix. They are the only profession that kills me before I can react..

Disappointed with the later half of personal story quests

Not that I’m bashing the game at all, but just as some constructive criticism: from what little I’ve experience so far, more ingenuity could be put into the personal story quests. I was really excited when I first began questing, I thought many of the quests were very different (a nice change from WoW) and I even compared the pve to Skyrim. Now that I’m towards the end of my personal story, the quests boil down to “kill this wave of undead, okay now kill that wave of undead.” Don’t get me wrong, I love killin’ me some undead, but it gets a little stale after the sixth time.

OPINIONS?

One thing I miss from WoW....LFG

LFG ruined the “world” aspect of World of Warcraft. All people did/do is sit in Stormwind or Orgrimmar and queue for dungeons. There’s no point in the world even existing because it’s barren. You generally don’t even interact with the people in your random group, and if you don’t like someone you just vote to kick them; where is the sense of community in that? It’s a stupid idea, I’m glad it was left out.
