Lorewise, two of my Charr were made after seeing that Clawspur looks more like a Warband name than an actual name name. Thus…
Sheina Clawbreaker of Claw warband, a Ranger in Ash Legion
Rem Thornspur of Spur warband, a Warrior in Iron Legion
My third is a Blood Legion Mesmer, Riah Steelheart, and according to her story(and all Blood Legion Charr), hers is the Steel warband.
These two nutcases are my main characters. Sheina Clawbreaker is a Charr Ranger, and Albi Bizzi is an Asura Engineer. This is basically how they spent Halloween…
How quickly do Charr mature and age when compared to the other playable races of Tyria?
Just a quickly sketched gag comic concerning a scene near the end of my Human Thief’s first story arc. Mostly though the comic is about Quinn…
Quinn … He’s a hugger…
I can’t find any suggestions for this, so honestly I’m a bit surprised no one’s thought of it before. I probably just missed it.
But one thing I would absolutely love to see added to GW2 is mounted combat. Technically it’s already a feature in the game, seeing as players can ‘mount’ siege weaponry, but there’s something alluring about riding around place to place on horseback and cutting a path though any enemies foolish enough to get in my way.
One could base the combat mechanics on the centaurs somewhat, since they’re ‘perma-mounted’. There could be a whole new set of skills and such useable by being mounted, and perhaps even attacks used by the mount itself- such as a horse kicking enemies behind you, or a Dolyak ramming enemies in front of you.
Another thing it would help with is exploration. It would speed up travel, without missing out on the beautiful scenery like one does if they constantly use waypoints. Even if combat were not implemented, mounted travel would be both fast and fun.
Guild Wars 2 is an awesome game, and mounts are just one more way to crank the awesome to the max.
