Price is fine IMO. I was looking for something to grind for, wasn’t a fan of the legendary bows so I just went for T3 Norn. Spent a couple of G’s for gear then I went to farm for a week straight and farmed about 120 something G. Would probably be a couple days sooner if I sold Oris and Ancient Wood that i gathered everyday. Would immediately do AC All Path Run in an hour or less then a gathering run right after. Was planning on going for Aether next, but I don’t have the time and dedication right now so I’m fine with T3 atm.

I love how it looks especially with my bow, haven’t seen anyone else with it yet and I like that. But I haven’t played as much after I got it, got burned out a bit. Taking GW breaks here and there, waiting for upcoming content and ranger updates.

EDIT: I think it’d be better if they lowered the cost then added a karma cost and maybe a token(s) of some sort (Maybe something that Miyani sells). Kinda like in GW1 where you need certain mats + money for armor.

So Gold, Karma, Tokens sold by Miyani and hell maybe even another set of tokens you get from doing hearts/events.

But that’s just me :p

I’ve been using LB/SB for quite some time now and I’ve been having fun with it.

I have Lightning Reflexes, Muddy Terrain and Quickening Zephyr for my Utilities, they’re all a staple for WvW for me really. LR MT for Defensive MT QZ for Offensive. RaO for elite, but i kinda wanna try the vine skill sometime soon

Double post but I did a bit of math, hopefully it’s right.

Would you guys say 49% crit [could always use food to bump it to 50%] with spotter be decent? While having 18k hp and 2.3 power?

EDIT: Around 85-90 or more crit dmg if im right. Also, the stats are without sigil stacks

I don’t like the idea of mixing the pieces, but ill keep that in mind.

Trinkets should boost it a bit and runes of the ranger. If it’s still low ill max Skirm or try and spread traits out more.

80 Ranger here, having a dilemma about gear.

I was looking through the armor sets, trying to choose which ones to go for. Ended up deciding between Berserker and Knight. But what caught my attention is the Valkyrie set. It gives Power Vit and Crit Dmg, something my build is not far from.

I used to run Marks/Skirm/WS before but now I run Nature Magic instead of WS. Currently loving it since I like to run dungeons and the extra HP helps a lot while having Strength of Spirit for a nice Power boost. And there’s always Two-Handed training whenever I want to use the GS.

What I’m planning is to get a Valkyrie Armor set and a Berserker Trinket set, or vice versa. The thought of full berserker gear correlates to glass cannon for me, so a mix is what I’m going for. As for the rune, still undecided (Rune of the Ranger/Eagle comes to mind). Would that be a decent gear build? I don’t want to spend money without having other people’s opinions.

As for weapon, I usually use SB/A+WH but it changes depending on the situation.

Okay so I got my 100%, got my Gifts of Exploration but I’m just wondering, is it normal that i got low level blues (26’s) from completing all the 4 WvW maps? Best one I got was a pair of 46 47 rares, and that was from like my first map.

Don’t know if it’s been said, but could anyone that has 165/165 Maguuma and 172/172 Shiverpeak post maps?
