I know there are a lot of forums about this already, but as far as I’m concerned A-net should know how frustrated and disappointed their players are with this event. Up until now I’ve been very happy with how arena net has set up the game and how the goals, even some of the more insane ones, are achiveable with enough work put into it. But this new attempt by A-net to try and get us to buy the minipets at the trading post seems like a cheap ploy, even if they aren’t that expensive with real world money. I’ve spent LOADS of money on this game simply because it seems fair and I honestly thought A-net was better then this. I understand they need to make money but in my opinion players are probably more likely to buy things with real money if they don’t feel like they’re being ripped off by the game. Personally I stop spending money if I do.
Don’t get me wrong, I love this game. I can honestly say it’s the best MMO I’ve ever played and I’m grateful for how much work has been put into it. But like I said, I thought A-net was better then this. And I’d rather dungeon-grind in game rather then spend money just to feel ripped off by them.
