Mate. If your having that much of an issue against anyone premade or not that isn’t abjured level. Then you still have room for improvement. Most premades only have a SLIGHT advantage over non premades. Your just letting it get to you and kittening around accordingly.
Instead of whining on the forums for attention (becuase its obvious your not trying to convince anyone. your just hoping like minded people will come here to kitten with you so you can have a nice circlejerk together) maybe you should figure out exactly how your matches are falling apart. Maybe try communicating at the beginning of your matches to avoid the more common tactics. Maybe take it on yourself to negate those tactics under your own power.
Because posting this isn’t going to make the premades less common. Its just going to make you and other people even saltier as you feed on eachothers tears. I know misery loves company. But do it where the rest of us don’t have to see it.

Have you tried leading them? I don’t mean yelling at them in the middle of team fights. I mean actually spending the preparatory time TALKING TO THEM figuring out what builds there running and making a strategy based off of those? Theres enough time to get some basic info. And that alone should get rid of most of the issues.
As for ending up with “bad” team mates. Again. Figure out what you can do to assist them. Yes even if that means babysitting them. Because helping them where there in trouble and actually saving them is going to show them the RIGHT way to do whatever they were failing at.
When Im in game I often spend most of my time helping out someone on X point because they got in over there heads. And ultimately they seem to learn from it. Alot of my wins are from when im practically babysitting other players. Just as when Im up against a REALLY good team the wins there are usually because someone covered for me. And often I learn something when they do in a “holy crap I had no idea a mesmer could blink to that spot” kind of way. Which is a bit of knowledge that helps later on when that same mesmer is on the enemy team and I know one of his tricks.

I was going to post a 5000 word essay on why people need to learn to play, but I’m just going to short it up (a lot really.)
DH traps are fine 1vs1. In a team fight they are fine too.
I could go on a full rant why they are fine in a team fight, but that’s s lot of reading and understanding how the game works (which I know most people who pvp don’t even understand.)
I’ll use one example to make it simple.
DH uses Test of Faith. You dodge out if you need to get out of the simple trap that only damages you if you hit the wall.
Use stability.

ill keep it short and simple for you. Big aoe that deals huge amounts of damage if even grazed, in a game where every class has knockbacks, pull, or makes you randomly walk into them (fear dummy) if you dont happen to have stability or a stun removal OFF COOLDOWN. got a stun removal? cool whats stoping you from getting knocked into it next time? what about the SECONDWALL THAT CAN BE PUT UP WHILE THE FIRST IS STILL STANDING? guess you need to get out of bronze elo and fight people that can use their fingers instead of their faces to play.
The mmr in this game is a broken joke, no trait/class matchmaking its all based on win/loss

DH traps are fine in a 1v1, in a TEAMGAME they are broken.
i could go into a full on rant on why they are broken in a teamfight, but thats alot of reading and understanding of how teamgames work (which i know most people who pvp dont even understand that this IS a teamgame)
ill use ONE example to make it simple
DH uses Wall of swords. ok you dodge out if you need to get out of the ring of death, simple and easy to do, UNLESS you get feared.pulled, knocked into the wall. then its instant 8k damage.
does 8,000 damage for getting hit by one ability seem fair? i rest my case.
IF Anet wants to keep DH and the rest of the classes the way they are now, the only option they have to keep people pvping is.
Bring back solo queue, lock Traits before the you enter the game, and add class/trait to the match making equation!
As a addition to my other rant, its not just me loseing, some games i play vs people who by my standards have no idea what they are doing, i also win games by 200 points, even 300 sometimes.
that does not make this matchmaking system ok, it needs alot of work.
simply put solo queue back in, lock skills and traits BEFORE you enter a game, add class/trait into the matchmaking equation.
I suck at this game, I know what MY skills are and what my keybinds do without thinking.
but the problem is i fight people WAY above my skill level ALL THE TIME. this is stupid and should happen only a few times a month, not DAILY!!!
i have a 53% winrate with 415 games played in unranked. there is no reason i should play people who crush me without taking 15% damage in a 1v1. there should be no reason i should ever lose a game by 200 fricking points. ive had enough games where i should be placed with people my skill level.
fix whats wrong with this matchmaking, im not sure if its because theres no soloqueue(lmfao no solo queue in a game where you cant ban classes is a joke) or the fact that you can be placed with random kitten class combos that make no since(like a game where they have 3 zoomancers and you have no cleave)
remove ACCOUNT MMR, just because i played X amount of games with Y class does not mean im as good with all classes. thats dumb, it makes me not want to pvp with other classes.
and lastly, STOP CATERING TO ESPORTS you are not league of legends you are not a MOBA you cannot have the same system with an MMO, CLEARLY IT DOES NOT WORK. STOP IT.

Alright ill give a rundown of how I play. I should of started with this.
- I like the AED because it combos well with automated medical response, just need to use it when you get around 10k hp for the cooldown reset. As for the stun, its really easy to get off, just use it right after another stun like thunderclap or supply drop for longer stun + more vuln with expert examination.
- As for runes they are up in the air right now, i could change them, my logic was i get alot of crit from firearms+fury already so a little more kick cant hurt.
- As for the sigils, I use the 3 crits to gain fury from firearms when I need it(like swtching targets). and to apply bleeds to gain an extra 10% crit. once I get bleeds and fury up its easy to keep up.
Thats just a rundown of the points you brought up. I will try out the other runes and sigil and see how it Feels, This build is by no means finished. I just wanted to share what I use now. already have 100+ scrapper games in unranked. lets see the meta shifts.
