Yea, I enjoy this game very much as well, even got some WoW RL friends to drop and commit to GW2, they enjoy it as well. But given that this is said to be like TERA combat, TERA has the best combat in a game hands down, and having played some of that game before, this gets me all kinds of excited.

So it looks like a response from Gaile is that they won’t say if it is either approved or bannable. Bannable if said mod gives an advantage over other players, it looks amazing and I am seriously thinking of getting this. But if you really think about it, I have a mouse that can bind 4 buttons on the side to 12, 4 regular, ALT and Shift binding, does that give me an advantage over someone who has a 2 button mouse? Technically yes, but they could never ban you for using it, well I guess yea they could if they really wanted to, but thats extremely bad for PR.

Yea, if they find out you are using mods they will ban your account.

Yea it looks great, I would love FPS style mouse movement in this game, but I’m not going to chance getting my act banned for using it.

I miss in GW1 where I could simply click on the target to run to it and attack. At the least I wish I could single click a target to auto-attack. I also wish the mouse cursor stood out a bit more. Gotta be honest but sometimes I lose track of my cursor on my 27 inch screen and I lose a lot of time wiggling the mouse to try locating it. I wish my cursor was more visible. I wish it was bigger and brighter, or even just brighter would probably help a lot.

Half the time, I go to move my screen and only the mouse cursor moves, I find myself having to re move my mouse to cursor position on screen and then drag it back, re center my mouse and then re click and attempt to move the screen, it’s not constant, but gets old very fast.

I love soloing with a warrior and guardian. Both are extremely efficient with single target and group enemys. I run a power/crit dual sword warrior and tear through single target faster than a greatsword or axes, although 2-3 mobs isn’t to big of a threat. Banners are really great for extra boons, or you can rifle if you want to go more ranged and still do very effective damage.

The guardian, pop on a mace and a shield and just chain pull, greatsword guardian is fun as well, you get a gap closer leap, nice aoe whirlwind.
I do prefer the warrior though, just personal pref.

Story wise I have 3 humans and a sylvari, I’m somewhat through the sylvari and it is great, the human story is good to. But if I tell you why it will spoil it

My whole issue with targeting is on an aoe style class, like the Necro, I constantly drop target, to either minions, or if I am dropping staff marks in a champ fight, losing target to other people, this might be because I keybind almost every ability to my mouse side buttons. Logitech G700.

Tab seems a little unreliable as well, more often than not I will tab to something further away and pull more. For the most part it is good, it really doesn’t bother me on a cleave class like warrior or guardian. But aoe classes it can be a fairly big annoyance, like you said it’s not unplayable, but frustrating.

Or ANet could of not gave you anything at all besides some monetary compensation. I honestly think the De-level should be even more, you can 1-2 shot things as a Thief in just 80 rare gear. There is no challenge, if I added anything to this post, it’s that I want Anet to de-level us even more.

That really does look amazing, I for one would love being able to turn my character with just the mouse and QWES, I keybind A and D. Please look at adding ANet.

I don’t know about you guys, I blow money on things all the time without doing any research, then complain about it.

I currently run Scepter/Dagger with Staff. Since I am only lvl 41 currently in a 0/16/0/0/15 build. I really like the crit build, with the extra condition damage. With the 20% bleeding duration and the 15% move speed in DS. I feel like I have no real problems in PvE and am constantly pulling more to test myself. Grasp, feast, enfeeble then deathly swarm. Once they get close I Well of suffering then DS #4. Alot of AOE dmg. Minions are good at least keeping something off of me enough to burn it down, although I do end up kiting alot. Veterans are easy with blood is power and signet of spite.

I love this class, was my first toon, then went guardian, warrior, mesmer, and came back to the Necro, it is just to much fun.

I know a really neat game for you, it’s called the sims. But in all seriousness, what is the big deal with every game people are wanting housing?

This is just a terrible idea and is not needed in game, one game comes to mind on why this is bad. All this will do is single out players.

Regaining health would be nice, but they really aren’t on to long of a CD, the option for a target lock would also fix the issue, since I can just cursor where I want my aoe, if I want to target something else while said enemy is still alive, shift+click or something.

After around 150 hours playing so far, I have alot of fun and enjoy the game very much, one big annoyance I have though is with Necromancer minions, BloodFiend, Shadow, etc. Why is there a reason to target them by me? I have no reason to target them, and all doing that does is create issues with mob targeting.

As in, I am fighting spiders, my minions go right on the spider, arrow target [ the arrow on the screen]to aoe and I drop target off what I am focusing on and it goes to my minion, which would not be such a big deal in and of itself, but being ranged with a scepter, it will on occasion just shoot some random enemy.

So I am just posting a suggestion to make them non targetable.

I’ve gotten a few from bags on mobs in the 30-40 areas. Harathi Hinterlands I believe.

When you transfer worlds is it supposed to reset all your influence and all the research you did? If so that’s fine, I’m just wondering if this is a bug or intended.

My buddy just had this happen to him last night as well, he used G for gems and did the DD upgrade, has the mistfire wolf on all characters except his main a lvl 53 Thief, I told him to submit a support ticket, but couldn’t find the right area to report it as.

Where you have to enter in the name of your character to log in. The email authentication is extremely good for the most part, as long as you use a seperate email and PW only for GW2, but I still get a little concerned at times.
