Exact same here – Whiteside ridge – UK – ISP SKY broadband (BT)

Large lag delays of 10 seconds or more making the game unplayable in any zone.

Be interested and very happy if Anet ever get round to sorting this, it looks like its killing a good 25% of the playerbase atm.

Pingplotter shows some packet loss as it bounces around but then it did for my buddy also who doesnt have much of the lag issue.

After a long stint playing solo in a small guild that kinda didn’t take off after all, I’d be interested in hearing from any guilds on Whiteside ridge, that do all the PVE stuff and perhaps dabble in PVP and WVW as well.

Mainly looking to do all the dungeons and fractals going in a friendly and fun atmosphere.

Are you still on a hunt for a half decent guild on whiteside, one perhaps that is willing to advertise and do the normal guild functions?

Do you want to team up have a bit of a giggle rather than having to jump through hoops to even get an application in?

I see lots of looking for a guild but few advertising, so why not drop me a pm all those still looking and haven’t found a home but don’t want to leave whiteside for sentimental reasons

I want to get all us lost souls together and perhaps we can form our own guild and advertise properly etc save all that pain of continuously searching for one?

Anyone fancy forming a guild? a PVX style – chilled and relaxed casual run guild, with giggles and laid back atmosphere.

These forums are shocking for recruiting/finding guilds, gw2guilds web site is better but all out date as half the guilds registered are on the wrong server or dont exist anymore.

We need an ingame recruiting/listing tool that we can search find a guild and hit apply – fill out mail type application – bosh job done.

I think you completely missed my point here – my message if read properly reads “any large guilds on whiteside ridge, as no one ever seems to be recruiting” – dont recall asking for a pvp or wvw action or to be moaning about the state of the server. I.e im looking for a guild but no one ever seems to be recruiting – asking who are the larger guilds so I can get up dungeon runs and the like.

Perhaps there’s been some bad air that im unaware of, but for a lowly lvl10 guardian I must missed it if there was.

As Whiteside ridge is very inactive on here and low on WVW rankings – (I’ve heard of a few clans moving to more busier servers.)

What are the major guilds of Whiteside ridge? anyone know?

Is it a lost cause in terms of trying to get a form okitten/EU guild presence?

IF Whiteside ridge is a lost cause – does anyone know what’s next best? without the flamers/immature bunch filling up local chat and the playing field?

Any suggestions – very keen to get with a good bunch but its clear no one from Whiteside ridge reads here, so it makes me think how else do they get recruiting numbers if not posting or looking here? I see no in-game advertising when ingame..

Im looking for a friendly chatty bunch who chat in guild chat and are approachable and helpful. Perhaps a mature bunch with families and beer/coffee fueled gaming sessions would suit me best..

Ideally a older bunch than most would suit due to my “long in the tooth” experience in the gaming world, but happy just to be part of something bigger and do all the normal runs and what not.

Or if anyone fancies starting one for the more “mature” bunch of us here, I have done this previously in RIFT and it worked very well.

Really could use a good bunch that value any input to chat to or team up with in Gw2

A last attempt here to get some numbers under the banner, we’ve changed tact slightly so apologies if did apply as we were ourselves trying to figure out where the focus lay.

Its now formalised but at present we need interested parties before we commit to something larger.

Take a look and if you like what you read then register interest when I get a minimum of 5 persons interested then we’ll take the guild as “live” and go from there.

If not then no problems at all

Hey guys after a punt at starting one – which is very hard in GW2 for some reason, I find myself looking for one.

Looking for a good mix of folks to chat and banter with, I have a silly monty python style humour and just looking for a good bunch to PVP/WVSW/PVE and anything else.

A no drama mature guild would suit me just fine, in return I’ll chip help and perhaps even heal some of you – (disclaimer depends on how many coffee I haven’t had). Im playing a guardian with looking to play into a cleric/offtank spec hybrid is my first initial idea.
