So after playing the Stronghold mode in the beta I’ve picked up on something that might need some discussion around it. Currently if you go into Stronghold and your team starts badly and gives the other team a lead right from the bat, it is nearly impossible to gain the lead back. Once you lead it just snowballs.
This problem I really think stems from the mode itself since it is a mode where teamwork and communcation is required more so than the other modes I believe. But what are one supposed to do when you cannot communicate with your teammates? We should just accept the innevitable loss once you let the other team gain the lead?
Maybe I’ve had a different experience than others, but I’d like to hear what others have to say about this. Maybe there should be some kind of comeback mechanic in place for situations like this. Not any specific comeback mechanic, just something. One could say that the mist heroes is a such mechaninc, but once you lose map control and are pushed back to your walls to defend them, the other team are allowed to snowball even more with the mist heroes since they are now under their full control.
Yes, I aswell had a terrible trip to the Fractals today. Had the exact same problem! But no, I don’t mind having a second thief playing with, especially since you’re supporty! I’ll add you whenever I log on, I got your account name from the forums.
Hello. I’m Zinn Chronos, level 80 thief playing on Aurora Glade EU server. Currently I’m so frustrated with the lack of understanding of basic dungeon mechanism most players have that I find doing dungeons with. Sometimes I feel like a genius surrounded by cats not knowing what to do. I’m not trying to sound like a prick, because I’m not. But I can’t enjoy any dungeons because I always end up with players that apparently lack understanding over so simple stuff such as not standing in a red circle, or the fact that they need to communicate. I have some friends that I use to play with, and they’re good and stuff, but they are always full and taken whenever I play. So what I basically is looking for is some permanent group that are good at this game, knows what to do and understand game mechanics that are introduced to them. If interested, please send me a mail in-game. As mentioned earlier in the text, my in-game name is Zinn Chronos.

PS; doesn’t matter if we’re on different server in EU.
Recently I saw a post on gw2guru where they speculated on if mystic forge would have some special recipe which included halloween-ishy ingredients. The one thing people were certain about, was that if this was the case, then Sugar Pumpkin would be one of those ingredients, which would skyrocket the prices on sugar pumpkins. Which is why some people already has stocked up 10 or more stacks of them. Sugar Pumpkins is about 30c each on TP right now. It would be a smart investement. And ofcourse there is no confirmation that this will be the case, but what would economy be without risky investments?

I think its noted in the game, just not in it (probable/possible expansion). There is an area that is locked off next to Lion’s Arch. I forgot the name of them, but those bird people may also be a part of it I would infer.
You not talking about the Tengu are you.
I am. Am I also in the wrong here about something?
From my understand, the Tengu are deciding which other races shall be their allies and who their foes. that why they lock themselves up in the Dominion of winds. i can blame them for doing so after what happen to them in Cantha.
This is right, I remember it now when you go up to the fellow at the door. I still think its a possibility that they may be linked to the fourth dragon that will appear somewhere down the line of this game’s story.
Who do you mean when you say the fourth dragon? I know by reading a bit lore and conversations about and with the Tengu that they’re having problems with destroyers, which are Primordus’s minions. I would believe that Tengu would have a part of Primordus instead of the Bubbles if that is what you’re indicating. Don’t forget that Tengu might also be the introduction for a expansion to Cantha.
