I want to know what happens to the healing utilities and elite skill, so these skills correct me if I’m wrong change depending on the legend U call forth and channel through the mists right? So would this maybe mean that we don’t get any utility healing or elite skills to set up? Or will we have a way to exit and use a custome guild too? Just interested in what’s going on there

My guess is that legends can only be channeled for a secific time (similar to channeling meteor storm, just longer) and you get a heal and elite + 3 utilities specialized to that legend.
The elite could be, for example for mallyx, that it deals damage proportional to the conditions on the enemy and his heas is to eat up all conditions on your and up to 4 (many skills are limited to 5 players, therefore 5 allies + yourself) nearby allies to heal yourself.
Jalis’ heal good be healing and blocking/returning damage for some seconds. I have no imagination what an elite could be for jalis though.

So how many Revenants...

Funny thing is, people aready think to know for 100% what kind of build they run with revenant, as they already have their exotic (partially even ascended) equipment ready.
Let me guess, people, it’s zerker gear?

My Revenant will probably be an Asuran Conditioner (like my necro).
Brain, Brawn, Heavy Armor, Mallyx = awesome

Let's end the "divide the playerbase" charade

GW2 follows a more traditional MMO model.

oO?

In comparison to GW1, GW2 is more of an traditional MMO (Which was the main point in that remark).
Although, in comparison to traditional MMOs, GW2 of course is the first revolutional sheep.

I highly doubt that Sylvari won’t be able to be created anymore.
For once, not all Sylvari are going to become Mordrem (at least the players and Canach).
Also, the pale tree managed to protect the dream from corruption) thus meaning new Sylvari are born essentially the same as all others.
I don’t know how the experience of Mordrem Sylvari will reflect on the dream though.
Maybe Mordrem Sylvari lose their connection to the dream, since the pale tree protected it.

I really wonder how people actually can say it’s too short to be a staff. We never really saw it’s actual length, since the ends pointed forwards and backwards, making the “length” we saw appear shorter than it actually is, just by playing with optics.

The Glyphs however changed merely small elemental aspects, like a firestorm turning into a dust tornado, which menas it doesn’r really change stuff. the Attunements however change your whole variety of attacks you can do.

The idea with the glyphs is a good one though. I could imagine that the channeled legend changes little aspects of the weapon skills(similar to glyphs with attunements) while the utilities get changed out completely, like weapon skills on attunement change.

We know so far, that the spirits change out the 5 utility slots, which follows the trend of the elementalist and engineer to change out the weapon skills.
Since the utilities are gonna change out, it makes little sense to unlock utilities when you change them out anyway.
But what if you don’t unlock ability skills themselves, but rather the spirits unsing skill points? that would be the first class to actually freely customize your F-slots (I don’t count engi as the first class, as the F-skills are tied to the ultilities and therefore are not freely customized). That would be a refreshing new way to play. That way, anet could also include legend from the other races’ lores. Maybe even Kodan or Quaggan legends.
As for the dragon channeling Rytlock did. Many people think it’s Glint. But what if it actually is Zhaitan?

As far as the name goes, the Revenant handles about something or someone going back. In a sense, the name also means coming home. Therefore, the Revenants might be some kind of team Rytlock brings back from the mists into Tyria; in the other sense, coming back home to Tyria (or the flesh-y world, if they weren’t tyrians) from the mists.
This leaves possibilities for their own personal story (like the DKs in WoW) in the mists, but probably much shorter than the other, racial, stories.
Now you might say “But Rytlock is the first Revenant in the game, he has to come back alone!” BUT! Noone ever said that Rytlock is the first to actually use revenant-y powers. He might just be the one who first called himself a revenant and the others joined his group afterwards, calling themselves revenants as well.
