Thank you for the fun scrimmage EP. It was a nice way to get our cherry popped and we learned a lot and admit had a blast.

Fun fights tonight in both FA BL and EB. HOPE, RQ and I believe it was CL, nice coordination between the 3 guilds in the field. It kept us on our toes and we had a blast trying to anticipate the flow of the battle with you 3 against us outside of SM. It was so much fun knowing that to get a fight all we had to do was open the door of your keep and you guys would come out and play.

Thanks, Vic for catching last night fights. We weren’t running recording and wished we had. We had a blast with our 18-20 people fighting the entire JQ server in the north. Much respect to you for not blurring out your minimap like some guilds were known to do to hide the extra help their guild receives during fights.

The fight in the NE tower we had the best time doing an Alamo with the spawn wave after spawn wave of JQ that kept pouring into the tower.

The fight in the NW tower was a knock on the door to try and get you to come play but unfortunately the rest of the map had to follow you. I was talking with Ravakittenn whispers last night and enjoyed the conversation.

Nice SS, looks like 4 of my guys were having fun with others on the server. Glad they were able too.

Tonight has been quite possibly the most epic night ever in SoR history.

wow SoR does sound like a bad guy for me (because im from BG). I have to say that in the last push you guys seem to be able to use skills…GG

But isn’t this what SoR have been asking for? I remember a post from months ago asking JQ and BG not to hit each other and only hit SoR.

Also do you know JQ didnt hate SoR until when? IT was until SoR recruited ACO AND WARD. GUILDs THAT CALL JQ’S COMMUNITY TOXIC. so this is the result, you will get focused by JQ’s NA, as well as BG’s NA because we hate you. and ofc we will focus your SEA to minimize the EU timezone where IRON can pvd everything back.

I said that some elements of the JQ community were toxic and harassing some of my members and requested it to be stopped. I never have and never will say that all of JQ community is toxic nor will I ever say we hate JQ because we do not hate JQ. There are still many friends that I and my guild keep intouch with. We do not wish any ill towards JQ. The blatant attempt to start drama was too obvious.

I stopped visiting these public forum things, but a member of mine copy/pasted this interesting read. Being called toxic as a community really hurts, especially when it comes from someone you’ve supported to the max since day one of working on the same side. I have tagged up personally and even played purposeful cannonfodder for you and your team on multiple occaisions to acheive team goals on map together. Wiping the mega blobs in tandem with open communication and really working as a team, yet…I am tossed in with this label of “toxicity.” All I can really say is, not cool…

I said I wasn’t going to post again on the topic but Jed, you always could get me to reply. My post was a direct response to a certain guilder leader and his guild. It was not directed at SF or you and even now I will always have a special place in my heart for you and your guild.

The toxic I was referring to where certain community leaders, not all. Some including yourself have always been there to support the community and put in the overtime and work to try and improve the server. I will always respect that on a personal level. I wasn’t even going to post on the subject matter at all but everyday I find out that guild members are getting whispers from JQ members harassing them and some of those members are prominent community leaders, yourself excluded.

Please do not think this was directed at you or every single person on JQ. We still want all the best for the server as a whole and really truly hope that the few bad apples of community leaders will try and take better notes from people like yourself, Ben Sheets, Wok, etc.

Don’t worry SoR, you are an official T1 server now for life anyhow, as Prx/Ward just bandwagoned over to you!

You can’t say your stacked until that particular group of spineless groupies pays you a visit.

Mance, we in WARD are not all PRX and come from many different guilds and backgrounds. PRX is actually still on JQ. WARD spent a lot of time and effort to prevent and minimize drama and fall out of us moving. We went to many community leaders one on one and talked to them and many give their best wishes and keep in touch with many of us in a positive manner.

What I’m getting tired of is the fact you are personally attacking and harassing members of my guild in whispers. Stop harassing WARD members.

It was this exact type toxic environment that we were trying to get away from on JQ. We did not ever say in public such a thing to prevent any fall out from it but that is the plain and simple truth. It’s one of the major reasons we moved.

We also wanted a more WvW focused community that actually tried to improve constantly, that worked well together and the added bonus of having people to play with for our members in the off hours beyond just the 4 hours of NA prime time. The game is a little stale for many members and with them spending majority of their time in LA or farming achievement points when they want to be in WvW but there isn’t anyone on the maps, they get bored and quit the game. Either we try and help prevent this or we loose member after member.

As for the SoR decision, we knew the shear amount of guilds that had transferred and were recruited to BG and it was already becoming very evident in the gameplay. We thought about lower tiers but a certain guild leader of a guild that had already experienced doing so was asked by me what did they think after they transferred to a lower tier. I was told that it was fun for 2 weeks but got extremely boring after that and they even transferred back to a T1 server. Look at the lower tiers and the extreme one sided battles do not look fun or appealing to us. SoR has coverage gaps and even the NA isn’t as strong as people thing and there are changes happening in some of those guilds that left a wonderful spot for us to help contribute and go out and have fun.

Bottom line. Get over it. It wasn’t anything personal against you, your guild or anyone on JQ. We moved for our members, trying to do what was best for them and keep them in game and having fun.

It has been a complete blast fighting along side Agg since they have been on JQ. The coordination between us has pushed many enemies out of their tower and keeps.

Agg don’t worry about BG or SoR except for when you are spamming your brand new AoE loot keybind to pickup all the bags. JQ is glad to have you.

Was fun last night in BG BL, JQ and BG were trying to push us off the map and hit a brickwall when they got to our hills. Thanks guys for keep coming over and over trying to take our hills that was fun. dupegate kept coming with omega after omega too the north hills. was fun cuz at one point there was only a few tsym and a couple pugs on whole map yet we were holding off numbers that were 10 times our numbers.

I read some of the posts ih here question why does blackhole cry so much about not having numbers when they have more players than JQ and SoR combined but they are no where to be found. Lost in the black hole somwhere I quess.

As much as I love to see people embellish the truth for a good story this one was lacking context and content.

Those of us on JQ were having the night of our lives farming up the west side of BG BL and getting into BG Garrision. We weren’t there to win the keep just for ourselves as long as it flipped by either side and in doing so we were enjoying the bags that were being delivered to us in the supply corner of Garrison. As we were getting fat on the bag delivery service we had ordered, TYSM/SOR ninjaed our spawn tower and proceeded to try and ninja Bay. Bad move. Considering a guild that prides itself on knowing the “map politics of the 2v1” they should have known what would happen next.

I’m not known for my forgiveness on the battlefield. Greatly enjoyed pushing TYSM and friends all the way back into Hills with our meager force. Things were going well until I noticed backup was called and there were now two SoR zergs running the map. TW/TWL and TYSM. I will give plenty of credit for the hold on hills but let’s face it, Hills is the easiest to hold in the game when it’s upgraded, waypointed, fully supplied with siege maxed out on arrow carts. It was too late in the night (2am EST) to worry about doing a 4 hours hills siege while clearing everything out. We were there to farm until we all got tired and decided to go drool on our pillows.

I know this post is out of character for me but wasn’t fond of the bold face lie of the forces SOR had on the map. Like I said, great hills defense with every available resource but as I’m sure you noticed we didn’t just waste siege and throw everything away on the walls.

Overall it was a fun night. Thank you BG and SOR for the fun fights. There were many guilds I saw out there to thank for those fights and to just name a few ICOA, TYSM, TW, KISS, etc. I know I didn’t know them all and for that I’m sorry.

I’m sure I’ll see many of you on the field.

Midnight Wardens [WARD]

We are recruiting highly motivated players to fill our class needs for World vs World. We are a small group of players who have been playing together for years of gaming. We specialize in trying to flank and zerg bust, trying our best to dominate and make a difference in the open field for our server.

As for what makes this roster a little different here is how it works…

The Basics:

This is a WvW specific guild roster that rolls nightly at 5:00pm(ish) server. (Except one day a week due to missions, we WvW after)

We do not believe in blobbing, though we do understand that it has to be done now to take certain objectives, we always try to work with the map commander.

We practice in the field a lot, trying to work together. Commitment and love for WvW is a given for all of our membership.

After an Initiation and training period, you are invited into the roster.

All scheduled times are based off server time unless otherwise specified.

Only Commanders who have been vetted by the guild are allowed to schedule WvW times and lead the forces. We do have training and advice to help build up Commanders-in-training so that when they are ready they have a winning skill set.

The goal is to use our knowledge from our constant Tier 1 match ups, strategies we’ve learned from the enemy and from our own experience to adapt on the fly, make adjustments when necessary, and succeeding as often as possible.

World vs World:

This is the focus of our guild. We want to PvP against players, not PvDoor against empty buildings. We will bring the fight to the enemy and play the map when necessary to get the best fights for our player base possible. We know we always can improve, and always look for new ways to do so. Here are a few video’s of us:

PvE:

We have all Missions and unlocked and do them one night a week at 5:00pm server with a seperate roster. This is about as extensively as we PvE.

The Requirements:

All applicants go through a trial period where they are partied with specialists in our guild who know classes very well.

We run very specific gear and builds in order to maximize our potential in the field, these are shared to you once we see your chops and we think you’re a good fit with us.

TeamSpeak is a requirement.

Knowing your class is a given, alts are appreciated.

Signing up on our guild calender for scheduled events so we know if you can make it or not.

Having a positive attitude and ability to handle constructive criticism. (I get called out for example when I mess up, so I try to provide others the same luxury)

Getting a Cybroz dueling vote of approval…

Dear BG and SoR,

As much as we love seeing our dysfunctional siblings, we respectfully request not see so many of the in-laws at once. Anything over 60 per side and we just don’t have enough rooms to house them all in Garrison or the supply to feed all those needy zerglings. If we could schedule the family reunion at different times with less people it would help with overall enjoyment of all parties involved not counting the logistics. Thank you.

The presence of RG hurts JQ even more. They only love to GvG like dumb people. They don’t care about the server on anything else.

I’m not sure why you have had the JQ sig for so long. Unfortunately, a lot of people believe you are from JQ when you are actually from SOR.

We on JQ know exactly what type of guild RG is and why they came to NA. I and most of guild played with them in the EU bracket and here before just under a different name. Everyone that I know including myself and guild are ok and accept that and actually support RG in their persuit of killing opponents. Even a guild that is only on the field to kill can benefit the server.

Kathy, please know that Zagan is not from JQ despite his signature. He’s actually from SOR.

Mr. and/or Mrs. Moderator, this may be the wrong spot for this, but without being able to target the individuals in question, we are unable to report as you say so. We have been forced, as gamers, to take these situations up ourselves. We try to clean our own communities with our own initiative. No member from any server would want to be associated with said activities. Everyone strives for legit gaming and to at least have a positive lime light around them.

Until you guys supply us with a better means to report people, we will be forced to report these matters to each others’ communities in order to keep things the cleanest as possible on our own ends. We only do this because we do not possess an in game mechanic that can properly do this in certain instances. You will have to forgive the 3 communities you have here for making things known as public and making individuals walk the walk of shame to the best of our ability to show that we as gamers will not tolerate such activities within our gaming experience. This, all being in the fairness of a legit win/play vs another team/server.

That’s not true at all, there are many “skilled guilds” on JQ and anyone that says otherwise obviously hasn’t played WvW enough. If these unskilled guilds on JQ are able to beat SoR’s NA primetime, then that show’s exactly the kind of skill the guilds in SoR have.

I knew I liked ICOA for a reason. Usually level headed not only on the forums but battlefield also.

I would like to say there has been some wonderful fights on JQ BL tonight. From the SOR push into Garrison watergate that fortunately for us was repelled, tower battles, supply camps, you name it.

It’s been a blast with SOR mega zerg on our west and the BG mega zerg on our east all night long and keeping them out.

Wonderful Drunken Reset Night and want to thank SOR and BG for that. Most of the night was about 20-25 WARD members with some occasional company. A blast hunting down the mega zerg blobs for a charge.

Great fights on BG BL tonight and the Garrison battle was epic and such great fun.

As for the vendor in the corner, yea that was hilarious. We went to vendor then saw that everyone else was going too and we called to move and thankfully we did because we missed the first BG rush but half of us were laughing very hard watching it while saying “Duh”. Good job in there BG.

Already pointed out above that post, that SoR and JQ were waving at eachother while all this was going on. If it was about the ppt they would be on other maps. It wasn’t about the ppt, it was about 160 vs 40. And they flaunted it with emotes to boot. And yet here I am amazed again how blind people can be.

I went up and stood next to a JQ player during that battle to scout them. We left each other alone because he was also scouting us. I waved at them. Then 20 minutes later when we got sick of [WARD] trebbing us from the NW corner we pulled off the gate ran around the south side, came back up and wiped their group off that treb. You’re right though, we were working together.

Sorry late and don’t get to read forums from work.

We in WARD went out that night looking for some fun with about 22 people and all we could find was 2 massive server zergballs. SOR and BG was moving as one Zerg and held up in Hills just doing a staring contest. So us being bored tried to pull KnT out behind their walls to come fight and that didn’t work so the discussion on TS was literally “what the hell, why not. Throw up a treb to say hello to SOR and maybe TW will come play”.

We knew it was a big chance we would be zerged by both servers and we were multiple times but it was a blast watching the sea of kitten off red ants (names) come charge us. We were not there to help either side or even take the keep. We really just didn’t want to PVDoor. Granted we attacked Garrrison in the hopes to get some defense response and really didn’t think we would make it past inner. We were disappointed it was the zergball response.

Thank you though to both servers and truly hope the zergball mentality on ALL servers (including JQ) diminish. I know we love fighting both servers and have great respect for many guilds BG, SOR and JQ.
