Guild Wars 2

Hey! So, I just picked this game up again after about a year away, and came back to find my guild completely, 100% dead. I’m willing to move servers, represent, etc. , seeing as I’m pretty much without a guild at this point. I’m mostly looking for a friendly, active community to party up with for world bosses, dungeons, fractals, guild missions, and any general living world fun!

Really, the thing I’m looking for is a strong community. I’m willing to put some time into WvW and PvP, but in reality, if I don’t have a group of people to game with on a daily basis, I’ll end up feeling like I’m missing most of what I really enjoyed in this game.

Thanks for your time recruiters! I’ve been there before, and I know it takes a ton of time to do it right! Excited to find a new home here in this game!

Just some reasoning to this here, after rereading this I found it sort of lacking.
Mai reason I was thinking this was, honestly, that the ‘My Story’ tab of the hero panel seems to be…lacking to me. It just contains brief, incredibly basic restatements of the basic event(s) that make up each part of the story. Rather than going through and creating new text for every story mission to expand on this, I feel giving an option to watch the cinematics again, however limited people may feel they are, would add a lot to this part of the game.

Again, just curios to what you guys think about this? Would anybody but me even notice it if this where added?

Hey, just a quick idea here:
I think it would be sort of nice to be able to see personal story cut scenes and videos again, just for the sake of the art in it. Personally, one of my favorite parts of this game is watching the first cinematic after you create your character. Call me unnecessarily nostalgic, but I think it would be awesome if we could see that again at any time.
I don’t expect this to be high-priority or anything (of course), but just something to consider in the future.

Again, just rambling off some ideas. What do you guys think?

Hey… just getting a vague idea in my head of what I’m going for here. Crit/ Condition damage is going to be the main focus, and the better it is a Pve, the better. Really, and suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks for your input!

Here’s how I normally play it:
1. Almost always use the flamethrower, unless there is only one enemy in the area (and even then, I still usually stick with the thrower).
2. Hit the first few, get a drop moving towards me, drop napalm, and explosive shot.
3. Try to line up and many piercing shots as possible, focusing more on group damage than damage itself, dropping air vent and smoke vent when someone gets to close.

It’s not terrible, but it still feels… off. I don’t have all the sigils yet, but what’s shown is the plan. Pointers on where I should be going with this are mainly what I’m looking for, but again, just about anything will be considered. Thanks for your time!

Hello Nicole! From the looks of your message, I think you would fit in quite happily with our guild. Our guild name is Pve (Pansies Voicelessly Exploring).

The explanation of our name is as follows:

Pansies: we tend to stay away from PvP situations (although we are laid back enough to let you do your own thing)

Voicelessly: we prefer to use the methods of communication In-Game, rather than use other types of voice chat.

Exploring: Many of our members (including our founder) tend to spend most of their time find all the cool thing the massive world of Tyria has to offer.

doing this quest is easy for me. taking down the gladiators, easy! taking down the champion, easy! taking down the great devourer, so easy! but then theres the problem. there is suppose to be a cut scene, but then it never shows! i can move around, and i can never move around when there is a cut scene loading! please fix this guys!

Hello. First off, thanks for reading this. I’m a fairly new player to GW2, looking for a somewhat casual guild that focuses on PvE (or doesn’t care if you don’t want to spend all your time doing PvP/ WvW). I play every day, and I’m planning to remain active. Simply looking for a group that I can have some fun with while playing, and that doesn’t really care when I’m going to hit level 80.
