I’m a Bay Area local and Twitch streamer who met my husband while I was podcasting for GW1. He was in England; we played on international servers. We have a lovely little progeny of our own now. That little boy is the only thing I love more than Guild Wars.

Hey everybody,

We’ve made some changes that should improve overflow issues on most maps. The team is also investigating larger solutions to help in the long term.

I noticed the difference right away yesterday. Thanks for all your hard work!

My GW1 guild and alliance chose a GW2 server before launch, and we stayed there. I have never switched away from Stormbluff Isle or even guested. I’ve been pretty happy where I am, WvWvW drama and all.

Until now.

I can’t get into world events on my own server. I was in overflow every time I tried to log into Sparkfly Fen last night, even when Tequatl was NOT due to spawn any time soon.

If guesting is, in fact, what is causing the overpoulation problem, then perhaps guests can be placed into overflow? Either that or really limit the once-per-day-per-character for real. I quite like the loot changes and I am totally fine with not being able to farm dragons over and over anymore.

I’ve logged into 4 different characters today, doing dungeons, dailies, story missions and what have you. I just logged into a 5th, a level 20 character that has not gone near the refugee areas, and I just found the reward in my mail. Random!

I quickly accepted it into my inventory so I didn’t lose it again! It’s account bound so I can switch it to another character if I want.

Very, very strange bug. I have no idea what caused the reward to re-appear.

Yes, I had the same issue. I submitted a bug report for it.

- Completed achievement on my mesmer.
- Logged out.
- Logged in the next day on ranger. Noted reward mail but did not retrieve reward.
- Switched characters. Reward mail not in box.
- Switched back to ranger. Reward mail disappeared.

I checked different characters and inventory, but the reward simply vanished.

I am a longtime GW player and a longtime minipet collector. I have so many GW1 pets that they don’t all fit into my HoM!

I bought two packs of the GW2 Halloween minis so that I could have them all. I would really like the Wintersday ones, but with the possibility of it costing $30-$60 just for the chance to score them, it just doesn’t seem worth it.

I would gladly pay for a guaranteed pack of them, like the Halloween event! When spending real money, I would like to know exactly what I am buying.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU! I was one of the people who had gotten disconnected at the end of the karka event, and I just received my loot box in my mail today.

Same thing happened to me. I was in an overflow server and had participated in the entire event. I was disconnected right at the end, so I did not see the finish and did not receive any rewards for the 2.5 hours of play time.
