Stopped playing myself for close to a week now and don’t really feel any desire to come back.

I still check the forums though to see if there is any news (did the same with d3 even after i quit long ago). Probably stop checking these forums regularly as well since there’s basically no responses or news.

Same for me. Haven’t played since Xmas and not missing it. Not even a bit.
When I think I almost bought a new PC for that crap. But the worst is that I’m still secretly hoping it gets fixed one day. But they seem sooooooooooooooo far from that point.

I find it terrible that they don’t even address that merged thread in the BUG section of the forum…

CnD+stomp is what is used for weeks…

They did leave a reply in this forum but not in this thread though. I can’t find it in all the threads but basically it says they were testing a solution internally.
(I know, i know, that’s some high level information)

That being said, repairing the client did make it better for me! I played 5 games yesterday and didn’t get stuck once! Yay. You guys should at least give it a try!

“Sorry there hasn’t been any updates about this. We are currently testing a fix internally. The issue does effect the whole game, but because players see the load screen so much more often in PvP, this player base is affected more. It also has nothing to do with what profession stomped you :P”

AFK’ers do get kicked out when innactive.
What can also be possible is that they are affected by the “stuck at the loading screen” bug and refuse to leave. Nonetheless, they are also considered as being innactive and ejected from the game (happened to me once when i refused to ALT+F4).

That’s the first thing I’m doing after work.

I don’t get that notion of “fair”. I spend hours playing the same game as PvE players. Moreover, PvP level up is low (for the non-hardcore gamers) and I find that extremely annoying that I can get only new armor tier every 10 levels…

Not that I care as I don’t do PvE but I can understand why PvP players doing PvE are fustrated.

True! Forums were full of threads about builds, match-up, strategy. You could just be really creative and I loved the way any class could play the skill of another.
Comparing this with what the forums look like today (both on here and on Guru for example) just shows how dead this is becoming.

As far as I remember, people were not complaining that much (few exceptions of course like IWAY -just writing it down makes me miss it- or Hero’s Arena full of Assassins). GW1 was truely an amazing game on which I had tons of fun!

But as I said in another post, GW1 was a PvP game! I’m sure they were suprised themselves how well the PvE did. GW2 is a (bad) PvE game with an even worst PvP.

If I’m still here it’s only because I hope they can some day make GW2 as good as GW1…

If that “repair stuff” really solves the problem, yes, I will blame them even more.

I would pay (more) to get a good PvP game with balance, “lots” of maps, features like ladder and basically a dev team that acutally listens to the people who bought their game and address the known issue.

GW2 doesn’t come out of nowhere. Anet had tons of useful information after GW1. How could they make it this wrong?

That bug has been going on for days! Leave PvE alone and have a look! We did buy the game like everybody else.

I can’t beleive I’m getting mad over a game but this has clearly been going on way too long.

The ‘forever loading screen’ bug is way more annoying than this (even if I admit raging about it at least once a day :-))

That just reminded me how great GW1 was!
To me, GW1 was meant to be a PvP game and ended in a more PvE one (with great PvP content).
GW2 just seem to be a PvE “bad” game with very little “PvP” content.

Unfortunately, I don’t think Anet has the human/financial resources to deal with any of those remarks.

Please, God, prove me wrong!
