I have just started ranked pvp as of yesterday and am struggling to understand how the rating gain corresponds to how I play. I went 7-3 in my placement matches which put me in silver 2 I then went on to win 5 more matches gaining 31, 31, 29, 26 and finally 24 rating. My understanding of most rating systems is that if you do well it keeps your rating gain high to put you where you need to be as soon as possible (roughly).
However playing tonight I gained 18 for a win then lost 19 and then gained 16. I am currently 18-6 and yet there are many people with worse win/loss ratio at a higher rating. Am I missing something? Is this rating system extremely different to the others that games with ranked pvp modes use?

I tried this again with 11,832 health, it activated when I hit 548 health after being sub 10% health (1183~) for about 10 seconds. Is this still not fixed or is this working as intended as it doesn’t check your current hp very often? Any ideas? Pretty shocking if this still isn’t working after 7 months.
Edit: Tried this a second time and was above 5% hp for the time but as soon as i hit 458 hp ( below 5%) it activated. 548hp is also just below 5% hp….is it bugged and activates at 5% hp instead?
Edit 2: Tested a third time, only activated at 591hp which was 4.995% of my max hp…seems to be when you drop below 5% it activates.

This isn’t a ‘please nerf, it’s too hard’ thread. We just spent about 2 hours maybe more on Simin trying different tactics and different locations to kill her however whenever she got to 50% she would stealth as usual we would drag the sparks onto the marks pretty quickly however as soon as she got to 50% hp again she would stealth. My understanding is that there is roughly a minute between stealthing not just every time she hits 50% hp, please correct me if I am wrong. Also, the 4/1 tactic of letting her heal up with 4 sparks in place did not work as the sparks disappeared when she came out of stealth.
Its pretty heartbreaking to finally get a group for this, one shot every boss up to her then have to leave the dungeon because the final boss is bugged.
Just wondering if this has been happening to anyone else and if they found a way to fix it, or if I’m missing something and this is working as intended, i don’t want to go through it all again only to have this bug occur. Thanks
I’m usually all over the world on every character doing various events and things. I ran arah path 3 on my necromancer before doing cof on it but that finished about an hour before I finished cof on it. I’m going to try on my necromancer first today and see what happens. thanks for the suggestions so far
Hmm, not sure how that is working then because it went 60 – 30 – 60 in back to back runs, surely the third would be less than 30 not back up to 60?
I was doing CoF path 1 earlier today, I completed one run on my guardian then swapped to my necromancer then to my thief. My guardian received 60 tokens at the end, my thief also received 60 but my necromancer received only 30. It was the first time each character had run the path that day or any dungeon for that matter and this is the second day in a row that this has happened.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if there was a change that i missed.
