Hey there!
If you’re willing to transfer, which is free; my name is Lanka, and I’m Guild leader of Imperium, a mature guild with European players on Whiteside Ridge.
Our guild is full of mature, helpful people. We’re all 21 + in age. Doesn’t mean we’re all serious adults though, can still laugh and have fun !
Our guild is small and we like it that way. Every member is a person and not a number. Yeah we recruit the player not the person. We have around 70 members at the moment, which I think is quite a lot, but 50% of them are casual players. The other 50% is pretty active.
We run regular non mandatory events and members often organize their own dungeon runs over the guild chat. In fact we do something every day, but people can choose whatever they want to do, if they rather do something else.
We use voice chat mostly to chit chat and joke around. For us, vent is not only used for doing events together, but also to get to know each other. Using vent outside of dungeons and events is thus greatly encouraged. That doesn’t mean we don’t use the guild chat though. We have members that never speak on vent because of family issues.
We are not elitist, but we know how to get things done. We have quite a few “experienced” players who are helpful and tell you how you can do certain things. I truly hate elitism myself and more importantly, we’d never single someone out.
We have active forums and voice chat. All our events are announced there and also the contests we hold. We have a screenshot contest every month with nice prizes, a lottery, in game guild meetings. Obviously if you’re not interested in these things, they aren’t mandatory. But it’s those little things that add to our community. And as I said before, our vent channel is really active.
Our officers know how to run events effectively and aren’t afraid to say when someone isn’t doing what they are supposed to be doing (but in a nice way) and doesn’t get all mad and kitten off. I run most PVE content, and 3 other people are holding wvW content.
Obviously for a lot of these things, you will just have to wait and see what we’re all about. I don’t wan’t you to think that I’m just answering the way I think you’d want to be answered. If you have any questions, feel free to reply. We can also arrange a chat on out Vent if you want.

We’d like to welcome 4 new members to our guild. We’ve also implemented static dungeon group runs, so if that’s something you would like, then don’t hesitate to join us !

Hey there!
My name is Lanka, and I’m Guild leader of Imperium, a mature guild with European players.

In order for a new player to join Imperium they must meet our recruitment criteria as laid out below:
- All new members must be aged 21+.
- In the event that a player is slightly below this age requirement then they will be asked to party with our members on a number of occasions to see if they would be an asset to Imperium.
- All new members must register on the website prior to being accepted.
- All new members will be added on a two week trial basis. At the end of this 2 week trial basis the Officers of Imperium will cast their votes to determine if the trial member is offered a full position in Imperium.
- Imperium operates a need before greed looting policy in groups.
- Imperium operates a DKP looting policy on raids.
- We do not kill steal other players or roll on loot when there is another person better suited to the item in the group.
- Under no circumstances are members of Imperium to use public chat channels to talk in a manner that could reflect poorly on Imperium or its members.
- Under no circumstances are members of Imperium to conduct themselves in a manner that could reflect poorly on Imperium or its members.
- Must be in agreement with our Guild Charter and Philosophy in order to join our community.
- Must be in agreement with this Recruitment Policy in order to join our community.
If you wish to join Imperium then post your application in the appropriate section of the forum.

I don’t think that would be a better stat Wolfram. There are enough people that play PvP in my guild so that won’t help much.
I wonder if it’s difficult to implement, but my guess is no
Yeah I agree, it’s a mess, trying to figure out who’s active and who’s not. We don’t have as big as a guild as you have though, and even for us it can be a nightmare.
I’m sure this has already been suggested before, but I can’t seem to find it. Seeing how long someone has been offline will help me and I’m sure a lot of other guild leaders, with tracking people who have vanished.
If you have a small guild, then this is not an issue, but once you reach over 50 people it’s sometimes difficult to keep track off.
