So if grind is an "option"don’t sell the Game saying Explorable mode is rewarding, sell it saying Explorable mode is easy and grindable.
If it not “easy” and they sell it saying that they are difficult and REWARDING they should make it A LOT more dificult and if they want it to be a grind make it 20 runs in super dificult runs, not 60 ! Not even in WoW there were 60 runs for have all the gear.
As much as I love GW2 they dropped the ball on dungeons. Now I see myself farming Arah and making the “wall jumps” in 1 try to farm the tokens. When the 1st time I went in in guild we spend 4 hours to finish the dungeon “legit” and earn 31 tokens. In those 4hours I get more then a 100 tokens from just doing the puzzle.
My experience in dungeons is really amazing, in guild my guildies and I are capable of vainquishing all of the dungeons in explorable and have a really good time.
The bad part is when we realise that we need to run the same dungeon 60 times to get the full gear skin of this single dungeon. I am not even talking about the weapons.
The dungeons beeing fun and all don’t really make up for this tremendus amount of tokens we need for our cool gear. It is just not worth it to re-run dungeons except for Arah.
I don’t really like the jumping puzzle between 1st and 2nd boss to get through the wall but I understand why you put the puzzle there. If like this we get tokens faster… why not making these puzzles in every dungeon?
Just saying, dungeons feel like a grind to me, thus not fun, AT ALL.
