Emotes that played before you're there

Apologies for being inprecise there, and thank you kindly, Josa. That is what I meant.

Whenever one of these “infinite emotes” are used, only people that were nearby when you started using it will see it. Others, when they get close enough to see the player using that emote, will only see them standing around normally while the chat informs you that they’re playing an emote.

I really don’t know a better way to explain it, sorry.

Heya, didn’t hear people talk about that one much lately, so maybe it kinda wasn’t noticed.

Just trying to raise some awareness here, that if someone’s done an emote before you’re there or if you walk further away, they will not be doing that emote when you get near them. They’ll just stand there.

The chat log will inform you of their emotes, but they won’t be shown on the characters.

Any way to disable ingame web browser?

Oh yeah, I guess I was a little lazy with the problem solving, sorry.
When you open Overwolf (The default keybind is Ctrl+Tab) and go into the settings, you can find Browser settings right away in the general settings. Untick the “Use Overwolf Browser to open links” option and you’re good to go.

Edited the instructions, I wasn’t 100% sure if it worked since I didn’t get to test it before. By now I tested it, should work like this.

I’m quite sure that’s the Overwolf browser. If that’s the case, close Overwolf.

Been leading two Dragon Stand runs and noticed that a lot of people complained about not being able to use the waypoint after dying as well. They had to waypoint out of the map, join back in and join our instance again. If that happened after (or shortly before) a successful run, you’d be screwed, since joining that instance is impossible once the map is finished. It didn’t happen to me, but I saw people getting very frustrated over this. Especially after working on that meta for an hour and whatnot and then not being able to get rewards.
I think it only happened when dying from falling into the pit in the final fight that’s the only time when I noticed people complaining about it.

Hope this gets resolved soon. I can imagine how frustrating that may be.

EU and US playing together?

Tbh I don’t feel like seeing map chat swarmed with words in a language I don’t understand, like Russian or French

Huh, that reminds me. Whatever happened to the Chat Language Option? I mean, I can’t find a way to enable or disable that option, but I also can’t find any updates regarding this being changed. I don’t notice people speaking in other languages than the ones I know (German/English), so there seems to be some kind of system in place, I guess?

I faithfully await the day we get to play both with US and EU friends somehow.

I can’t see what stops us from having one homeworld per EU/US, since these homeworlds couldn’t compete in WvW anyway. Networking-wise on the other hand, I have no clue what kind of problems come up. .-.
