As someone who was unable to complete it i still say it was a good jumping puzzle and of a difficulty I would like to see more of.
There were only really two problems with it.
For something that’s really a solo activity other people were generally more of a hindrance rather than a benefit, which goes against one of the main aims of GW2 (other people being either neutral to gameplay or a benefit)
So next time allow people to solo something like this if they want to and the other issue was, something of this difficulty should not be limited to an event duration, the added pressure of “event will end soon” definitely forced people to over do their attempt sessions leading to much of the rage
1) Yes or limit it to only from high pop to low/med pop servers with two weeks or more transfer cooldown or lock out from wvw
2) Kind of yes, but should allow a certain amount (50) before it kicks in otherwise server caps everything in a land and then all leave, other servers cannot get enough people in to take anything
3) the two main issues with these class’s are bugs, it was never intended for a class to be able to bypass walls and thieves perma invis is a recent rendering bug introduced by a patch
4) Yes to swapping and adjusting (ie don’t just swap)
5) Getting something for standing doing nothing in a building that is not being attacked. Sure! there is no way that won’t be abused……
5* As someone who spends a fortune on siege and upgrading….no

7) Defenses should be faster but not cheaper. Only rams need to be made more expensive
8) Yes
9) Never seen it happen outside of 30? min no use timeout or receiving damage the instant it is placed
10) No way, that happens and WvW just becomes your standard 2 team faction match up with one of the teams having double the people
11) Minor issue, but no real objection
12) If people want to waste their time..let them
13) Yes
14) No real need, if you cannot take one supply camp….
15) As long as there is supply and workers are not engaged building something.. no problem with it
Cannot believe you left out the invisible players/army’s, or siege safely inside one base attacking another (and many times not even raising crossed swords)
Simply put, Anet won’t end free transfers at this point any time soon, because they can’t. They are looking at the bigger picture, as some of you need to start doing. Look beyond your week-long matches and down the road a few months to a year.
While it was a nice detailed thought out long post the one missing a piece of the bigger picture is you i am afraid.
The reason we have free transfers now is because the much promised and touted feature of “guesting” is not working. Nothing more nothing less
Anet made it clear long ago one the the things they will be using for revenue stream is transfers so they will, probably the day they get guesting to work, start charging
ps: and you will not be able to “guest” in WvW
The orb question is a tricky one. You want something that brings relevance to the border maps, and I’m not sure swapping orb/outmanned bonuses would achieve that.
Yes just swapping them would be pointless as there would be no real point in getting them unless they just happened to where you were attacking anyway
Giving massive bonus’s outside of WvW would not be recommend either as that would just cause economy inflation for dominating servers
If it was me i would swap the bonus, give points for having them and to make things really interesting would make it so they could also be placed in towers as well and then scale the accumulation depending where you kept the orb. ie: keep it in the garrison on your home borderland, lowest point accumulation, keep it in a tower get the highest point accumulation.. Maybe even grade it depending on which tower you placed (ie: how far from your base)
Daily free server transfers are available to facilitate equalization of server populations & to allow people to find a server best suited to them. Eventually, the ‘free daily’ will disappear and those who have been server hopping will be faced with either staying where they are or pumping out cash each time they can’t handle a little competition. Be patient.

Free for all transfers does not equalize server populations, it just makes it worse
One is because they are committed to making us glass cannons— which is inherently hard to balance. Too much burst damage and it’s annoying to play against us, too little and the trade off isn’t worth it for the elementalist.
While I understand it can be hard to balance, at the moment it’s to much ‘glass’ and very little ‘cannon’
But was amusing other night when comparing /death in the guild, ele’s ‘won’ pretty much across the board, so at least we are good at something
I’m pretty sure Tornado works under water. I used it in sPvP.
It only works in sPvP. ele’s currently have no elite in pve underwater
Agree with most others here, ele’s in water are pretty messed up with no elite, most of our slot skills disabled and in many cases what is considered support elements out dpsing the dps ones (aka water out dps’s fire for single target)
I try to avoid water combat where ever possible and when forced to just face-roll though the elements and pray
