Oh wow, I was expecting an okay turnout using that build, but holy crap. You actually did really well.
I’m leveling my first engineer now, and trying to be a grenadier.. However, it just feels extremely weak and lacks an “oomph”. Your build strongly reminds me of Operative from SWTOR, and that’s the class I mained.
If you could post an example of your build so I can try it out, I’d love you. It looks really effective. And maybe the enemies were just weaklings, but you were hardly taking damage, which really interests me. My engie is just unbelievably squishy and it gets annoying.
I played this game for about a month on release, and got distracted with other games at the time. Recently, I decided to return to the game, and I’m rolling/leveling a necromancer. For awhile, I wanted to be a powermancer (of what builds I saw.. Really hard to find a build guide post-patch, anymore), but looking at other necros in pvp and WvW, I’m not convinced I want to be a conditionmancer. Problem with that is my talents and gear so far have been for power, precision, and DS. My toon is only level 48, so it’s pretty much impossible for me at the moment, but I’ll slowly switch my gear and learn talents to go into ConD.
But anyways, my question is: Is there any really well-done Conditionmancer guides for newbies (Post-patch)? That tell you exactly what you need to watch for, and so forth? ConD looks confusing as hell, but I catch on quickly.
Also, seeing as how I’m technically new, I’m completely lost on this game. I get the basics of how I’m supposed to level and so forth, but the more advanced things I get lost on. I see terms like “kitten” and other acronyms that I have no idea what they mean. Is there a newbie guide out there for me?
Pretty much, I’m asking for any tips for a newbie to the game, and how to roll a Conditionmancer.
