I would like to give a little feedback on my experience with PoF Demo as well.
First of all Great job overall, I really did enjoy all the time I spent, I just wanted more and more as I played. The mounts feel great, some of the bounty are interesting and challenging, please, please don’t nerf them. I know some are going to complain as they always do.
I’m also very grateful about the great amount of lore on the new specializations, please keep it up. I really can’t wait, so regrets on my pre order. Just two things I would like to see changed, if possible would be:
1- Sometimes the mounts would get stuck on the steps and stairs or little edges that your players character would normally cross, that is a little anoying sometimes, because you have to jump to get over it and if your racing it does cost you some time.
2- I found a few items, in this case crafting materials that need to have a spot on the Material storage, I only played a few hours and I was already stacking some of these items very quickly, and when the expansion is released and we start playing for real this is going to clutter our bags fast like some of the HoT items did and were recently added to the material storage, so before these become a problem maybe it would be best to fix it now. Some of the items I found that were stacking fast were:
a) Ley-infused sand
b) Eyes of Kormir
c) Congealed Putresences
d) Slivers of Twitching Forgemetal
Once again thank you so much for the great game Gw2 is and the PoF is looking out to be. Really excited to go on another adventure.
Hi guys. First of all Thank you sooooo much for HoT it’s amazing, I love all of it. It’s been a wonderfull experience. I understand there’s always somethings that need fixing but that hasn’t kept me from enjoying the xpac. There’s also something I’d like to call to your attention, because I haven’t seen it in the forums, so I don’t know if it only happens to me. I have as my pets the fire Wyvern and the Smokescale, most of the time I have the second one active. But every once and a while out of nowhere it swaps to my Wyvern, when I really don’t want it to. I’ve also seen this happen all the time after I glide. for example just before I jump I have smokescale, when I land it swaps to my Wyvern when I don’t want it to do that. Is this what was planned? Can or should it be fixed? If I’m the only one bothered with it I guess not. i just wanted to let you know my thoughts on this. Now I got a Dragon to kill. Thanks
I’m honestly really sad about the announcement of the new legendaries. I had saved in my account a gift of Mastery, a gift of fortune, 100 icy runestones, gift of Metal (for possible greatsword) and other crap I can’t rememember anymore, and It was all useless, since I can only use them for the old legendaries…. I guess I have no other choice besides resign myself to use my very manly, pink flowery Longbow…. Useless work…Since I’ll just grab ascended weapons then…
Hi, I’ve just created a new character (asura) and am going through my personal story and, after yesterdays patch, every time a cinematic sequence starts (where your character is speaking to another) 1 e every 10 or 15 sentances is silent. It’s really annoying. It also happens every time a new npc enters the conversation, one of our conversation has no sound. I’ve seen it happen dozens of time in the last 2 hours. I’ve asked my guild mates and they say it’s also happening to them. Anyone else having this problem? If so please reply here so Arena Net can take a look at it.
Is really no one going to coment on the fact that all the previous announced specializations got a video demoing the spec except Tempest? I don’t main Elementalist, I main a Ranger, but I’ll let you know I’d like to get a video for the Druid.
I actully got Leaf of Kudzu from the mystic forge. 10 min into the beta I thought that was funny since I’ve been playing the game since launch and never got any precursor drop. No big deal though.
You’ve mentioned that all the skill points (SP) we’ve accumulated over time while playing Gw2, will be converted to crafting material. Today we use those skill points to unlock new traits and buy some items. I was saving up all my SP scrolls for my new Revenant so I could get as much skills as possible right from the start, or buy items for the new legendaries. Will those scrolls no longer be beneficial for my Revenant since all of them will be turned into crafting material? How will other items we’re saving up, be affected when HoT releases, like Tomes os Knowledge for example? Thanks
I just wanted to let ou guys know that the boss schedule is really messed up right now. If you work and/or have children you can’t kill any of them. when they start it’s either work hours, or dinner time and if you can’t be online then… Well to bad you just missed it, now you have to wake up in the middle of the night if you want to try it out… (I’m from Portugal). From what I’ve been hearing and talking to a lot of people online PVE is ruined for most of us. Honestly I feel like you’re trying to push pvp don’t people’s throat. I don’t like pvp….
One more thing, I have to admit I was excited for the Megaserver but oh my goodness was I wrong. Most of the time it never joins me with my guild I’m always in a different map with a 3-5 min delay on what they’re doing. Honestly I think in these bosses we’re like caddle, you don’t even have to think, just follow that huge zerg over there, don’t worry you might get to hit the boss once or twice, and maybe, just maybe the’ll drop a bag with some salvageable cloth. Don’t get me wrong I like the wardrobe, I like the dyes, the account bound items, and even though I don’t like pvp I think the reward track is interesting. But at the moment I really don’t like what’s happening in pve. I don’t want to quit playing the game, I’ve had lot’s of fun with it, but if something doesn’t change soon, I’m just going to get tired of running arround in a huge zerg trying to get to bosses, I’m trying to have fun with the game but right now that’s not happening. Please fix this huge problem, We’re not enjoying the game anymore
