Guild Wars 2

Hey There!

Looking for a guild to join? There are tons out there, but let me tell you of our guild.

Introduction
We are pretty small at the moment, but we are working on that! Obviously haha. Our guild has three main leaders, the founders of the guild, we have been playing games together for awhile now and have a good relationship, we want this relationship to be extended to all of our members!

General Info!
Our guild is mainly trying to focus right now on organizing PvP, for anyone on Gates of Madness (We all know that our world needs it) and dungeon running to get money and gear! For dungeon running it doesn’t matter what world you are on, we are always willing to help out. PvE is a thing, but we aren’t too worried about it, if you want to join a guild where you aren’t pressured to PvP or be forced into dungeon running there is still a place for you.

What we ask for is this:

• If you join for PvP, you represent us when we organize guild PvP events and at least once a week if you are actively PvP’ing.
• If you join for Dungeons, you represent us when we are running dungeons.
• If you are joining for PvE and want us to help you out as best as we can then we ask you represent us a majority of the time. (We understand the benefits of being in multiple guilds and networking, but we really need your help in representing).

The Leaders

1. Host - AKA Hakurei, our main PvP leader, she is fierce and most of the time a little scary, she is never afraid to jump into any battle and decimate the enemy’s numbers.
2. Lelantos - AKA Jonny, the main Admin of most of the out of game things such as the forums and other guild ran activities (i.e other games and stuff) p.s. He’s a human calculator o.O
3. Hashimatsu - AKA Lomir, this man is the wiki of Guild Wars (1 and 2) He has spent so many hours on GW1 that it actually made Jonny a little sick. If you ever have a question about the game he is the guy to go to. If you want to know more about the story of Guild Wars, he’ll gladly preach it.

Our forums not only host information about our Guild Wars 2 guild, but everything we are involved in, plus all of our friends that join us, you’ll notice we play a lot of different stuff.

ALSO!

Besides the whole influence part of it, one easy fix for the WvWvW chat system and organization is to have the whole freaking commander book cost like 1/100th of what it costs… I mean come on seriously? 100g for a skill that just allows you to make a squad?! WTF? that’s more expensive than a legendary weapon! Seriously make it way cheaper that way organizing PvP is 50x easier.

The old style of GW1 with the GvG should definitely still be a thing. It was more interesting and would cause a lot more involvement with your guild. You could still represent multiple guilds and just work things out with when you are going to be representing each guild.

On the other note of having alliances instead of multiple guilds, that should also be considered because it’s kind of meh to be in multiple guilds, there is no real point to it, compared to just quiting one guild and joining another to represent them, it’s almost the same thing. Sure each of your guilds get a little bit of influence for you logging in, but come one like 4 inf? not really anything. Alliances would make PvP a lot more interesting because you would have even larger organizations and get people even more involved.

I completely agree, it makes the gameplay have more variation and more enjoyment since classes have a limited choices of weapons, adding in more weapon style will keep things interesting. Not sure exactly what you could do, usually using only a 1-handed weapon will cause you to attack faster, regenerate endurance faster or be more evasive.
