Bump, as this is an important topic.
This is a duplicate topic, sorry. I found it in another area… https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Improving-the-guild-system-Long-detailed
I use a GS on my guardian as it has the best melee weapon abilities to my class. It keeps the character versatile while still keeping it from being overpowered. If you think the GS is overpowered because you play other melee types that can’t keep up, keep this in mind…
1) GS is a 2-handed weapon which will automatically do more damage
2) Shields offset your lack of damage with more defense
3) GS is melee only – this helps those who are ranged to have an advantage over them
4) You also may want to consider researching your character build to ensure it is doing what you want (i.e. healers do less damage, some damage is over time, some is immediate, and some people specialize in crit chance/crit damage where others focus on conditions)
5) If you think that there are too many options for the GS than the weapon you want, focus on telling us which one you want more options for and not just complaining about what’s wrong. Focus on the solution, not the problem.
I find it very frustrating to have to get the same dye for every character. Is there any way to have them account bound and available to any character after it’s been unlocked?
It would be nice if we could see the dates people joined the guild and when they last logged in.
Back when I played WoW, I was the leader of a well reknowned guild. In the guild, I could see when people last logged into the game, as well as other details about the person’s game play for guild purposes.
With that said, I am an officer of a guild here on GW2 and cannot see anything of such, but it would be useful to know to help determine the activeness of not only specific members, but the guild overall. Could we have something in place to see more of these details?
