Over my last 2 logins, I have recieved in game mail with a cut and paste of the “account shut down inform” email, giving me a direct account to report. These guys are not even trying anymore! At least with the email, it looked official-ish, if not entirely composed in engrish, but this make me cover my keyboard in Irn Bru the first time I laid eyes on it from laughing.
So, the progression is:- a few month after launch we get a competant phisherman, then after that came the “nigerian princes”, and now comes the people that cant even get a phishing list of email addresses. How. Very. Sad.
I am now stretching, but I am reckoning that the next set will just call people out in their forum posts with it for everyone to see!
My friend cannot log in due to email authentication not sending an email to confirm the ip address she is logging in from.
she is putting in the correct passwords and logging into her email account correctly but she is receiving no email to confirm her log in.
I agree that taking out defiant entirely would be a terrible idea.
I wasn’t suggesting a removal of defiant, just a change in how it currently works, for the nasty attacks, their “tell” would be faster until you knock some defiant off them, and if you do manage to tag them during a skill they just get it cancelled, they are still free to beat on the party unless if you have completely taken their defiant out.
World bosses would be immune to interrupt, of any type, but their “tells” would become longer.
I have alway thought of defiant as one of the main reasons why everyone just zerker stacks with no intelligent play, you seem to run with some cool people Spoj
I apologize if anyone has already thought of this, but I am proposing a suggestion that might improve the role of control in pve.
dungeon bosses should always be interruptable (as long as you can catch their attack, see defiant changes below)
World bosses are uninterruptable, but can be made easier to deal with by lowering their stacks of defiant.
Changes in the way defiant works…
Defiant will reduce effectiveness of SOFT cc (cripple, blind ect..) and also speed up the tell time of the bosses strongest attack (kholler’s spin to win for ex)
it will also shield the boss from the debilitating effect of the hard cc (knocked down, stunned) but not the interrupt.
Defiant regenerates instead of all or nothing.
My proposed changes will make hard cc a lot more saught after in dungeons, if only for making a boss’ power moves easier to dodge (by lowering defiant)

the game is becoming unplayable for me also. It seems, as long as there is no other players around my connection is fine, but as soon as someone else comes into view the game lags out, with skills not working until 5 odd seconds after they were pressed.
I am on the piken square server and I cannot get into lions arch, was also getting extreme skill lag in the gendarran fields
the code i am recieving when it kicks me is (code=7:11:3:191:101)
I have just logged in to help with a guildie’s personal story and, whenever I go outside of LA, I recieve really bad skill lag. Also, I have been dropped from game at least twice now. Has anyone else been having issues?

I received one of these today, looks really convincing, no typo and the address is very close.
whenever any of my characters goes into the city of divinitys reach on the piken square server I suffer horrpble lag and then end up disconnecting with a 7 issue, doesnt seem to happen anywhere else.
Agreeing with the OP, a mouse look UNTILL you hold the right mouse button would be cool, also, having a crosshair in the centre of the screen when in this mode and having mouse cursor always reverting to the centre when we pop back into cursor mode would be useful.
