I’m in full exotics and the DPS wasn’t even that high in comparison to a 100b Warrior or a Dagger Thief. There was no need to increase the cooldown at all.

The only thing that should have done, was either made retaliation scale with incoming damage or just change the buff that SoW gives to something suggest such as Might or Quickness (<— Because there is a lack of it).

It seems to me that this hindrance had nothing to do with the Retaliation buff itself (since it can be applied SOOO many other ways just as effectively WITHOUT the use of SoW) but to some sort of hate that Guardians are choosing to deal damage instead of being purely support, which is a broken and gimmicky mechanic.

Easy fix. Change back the CD and make it so the GS symbol gives might instead of retaliation.

I’d be happy with a bit of Quickness instead, get us a little bit of haste going, even still, I’d just be happy with reverted changes and having the symbol give NO buff. I honestly couldn’t care less about Retaliation, I don’t use it in my build. It’s gimmicky, it shined the most in WvW absorbing the siege weapon damage and destroying them and since they nerfed that, I have no interest in the stat whatsoever.

On another note, I’m purchasing Mists of Pandaria to see what joke Blizzard have done to Paladins. Until Guardians are fixed, I have no interest in GW2 currently.

I wouldn’t mind an elite skill that would revert my Greatsword skills to pre-patch so I can actually use my Guardian properly.
