Hello! I’m just curious about the 18+ rule. My friend and I are looking to join a guild but we are still in high school. Is that rule definite?

This post is for both me and my friend who are looking to join a guild together.

We are both in NA and have two level 80s.

I:
Am available after 3pm EST (might become later with work, however)
Have a Guardian and Hunter at 80, though I mainly use my Guardian.
Planning on preordering PoF in a couple of weeks.
Willing to use Discord after getting to know members.

My friend:
Is available after 2:30 EST.
Has a Thief and a Engineer at 80, though plays mostly Thief.
Also willing to use Discord.
Will probably buy PoF at some point.

We are both in high school so I thought to mention that, as there are a lot of 18+ guilds and I wouldn’t want to lead people off track.

We are interested in a smaller guild that is more tight-knit. We focus on PvE mostly.

I’m currently seething after two and a half hour play of the level 80 personal story. It’d taken me a while to play through this as it’s my first character and I wasn’t using walkthroughs. I’d gotten to the part where your character has to kill Zhaitan, and he had about 10% health left. I was so happy to be finished with this. I got hit by one of his tendrils and died. I wasn’t too fussed, as I just wanted to move on and get to the HoT storyline.

However, after my character loaded up and I went to the anvil, my game disconnected. There was an error message about some sort of internet problem, but I have very fast and efficient internet, and I do not think that it was my internet. This has never happened before.

I’d learned before that you have to start over when reloading an instance, and now I’m really angry.

Is there perhaps some sort of checkpoint system? Something that saves your place halfway through the game so you can return? If there isn’t I think there should be, it could be useful.
