I see,thnx for the info.So,what u are saying if i aint mistaken is that a pure power gs build would pair better with sword/focus?Aint mesmer losing much dungeon utility if he doesnt bring a staff?
Also is the vigil set worth buying for start?

I just hit 80 and looking for a build that is usefull in dungeons but also in open world events.Since vendors dont have condition dmg gear,but staff utility is a must on dungeons,i am looking for a gs/staff power build,and need a help with traits.I am grateful in advance for any tips.

Greetings,I am new to the mesmer class (and GW2 in general),I’d like some advices for trait builds and stat priority for GS/Staff (also for other weapon sets too).I know there must be similar posts,but most of them are for lvl 80 (i am 40 atm).Also plz explain why there is condition dmg as stat,aint power stat applied to condition dmg anyway?
Any other tips regarding mesmer are welcome.Thnx in advance.
