If your target is so far beyond LOD that you can’t target them anymore, there’s a good chance your bow will not be able to hit them anyway.

no they are definitely in range, i used to be able to see alot further on my old pc. i am assuming its not rendering as far because of the graphics card or something

is there any way to increase the LOD beyond ultra? i have been having alot of trouble with targets disappearing when they get out of range which makes it very hard to target them with my bow.

currently i have the LOD on ultra but it does not seem that much better than when on medium.

Guild armor is scale mail, while most lvl 80 armor is plate.

most of the scale armours i have seen have much smaller scales than the guild armour.

I don’t think letting classes wear armor that is a
However; I do think that making it so that you are not automatically kicked out of town clothes mode when ent … clipped…. get hit or aggro something.

i defiantly agree, the town clothes system makes sense the only reason to opt for the low tier armour is because there are not many town clothes available. and the ones that are available fit a theme like the chef stuff. there’s no ordinary clothes variants yet.

another way to handle it could be to add an auto change tick box option. so people who want to change their armour and use stats do automatically and people who want to stick to town clothes in combat can choose not to auto change back.

But only letting players wear downgraded armor would make Light Armors get the shaft. Heavies could wear everything, Mediums could wear 2/3 and Light can wear Light…

well light armour looks okay for wandering about in town, its not far off from clothing.
heavy how ever is all armoured. i doubt very much that all warriors in the world would wear armour all the time, cant be vary comfortable for a fishing trip.

i have seen other mmos where classes can wear any armour below their own , granted light armour wearing players would probably get less options but mechanic wise it doesn’t provide medium of heavy classes with any better stats than the light classes.

the other option is to make town clothes remain turned on in combat without stats and then make armour usable as town clothes. then any class can run around in any armour but will not gain any thing from that stat wise.

the only issue i see with this is that elementalist or other light armour class animations might not work with heavy gear and visa versa. if that is the case it would be alot more work to alter without causing graphical glitches

I had the same problem but with light armor, I found out that vigil armor works very well with guild armor. Good options is however very limited.

looking at the list of armour there are some that would be easy to apply a guild logo to, such as the Cultural Tier Three.

i think there really should be more variations of guild armour.

I think we need some improvements to the town clothing system.

i get really fed up of running round in full-plate armour on my warrior, i didn’t notice it so much playing engineer (those coats look good)

the town clothing system is your only options for wearing normal looking clothes, but it reverts to normal every time your attacked or you pick up a bundle or use a skill like sprinting etc..

The way i see it there are two reasonable ways of improving this:

1. Allow classes to wear armour of lower type, a warrior running round in light armour one break the game mechanics it will give them a disadvantage sure but at least they can look good while their armours in the wash.

2. Make town clothes remain while in combat so players don’t magically revert back to armour you could even make normal armours of any type wearable as town clothes if you ignore their stats, town clothes would then have to act like running around with no armour on.

for PvE i would probably like my warrior to run around in something similar to light armour even with the stat reductions. some people prefer appearance over stats and i think players should be given the choice.

I was wandering if anyone had found any armour combinations that matches the guild gear?

i like wearing my heavy guild armour for the emblem but it doesn’t really match any of the other armour that i have been able to find. at least not in my level range so far (im level 54).

if anyone has found any good looking armour combinations id love to see some screenshots.
