Holska – I’m sorry but I think you’re wrong. We change time this weekend yes BUT it’s the Saturday/Sunday night So it’s still 9 PM (unless I got something wrong).
Okay some up-to-date input: I tried this boss Today. He spawned the veteran adds randomly and the adds disappeared randomly too, making it impossible to finish.
I went to CM explo (asura path). First explorable dungeon for me not only Today but ever. After the end of dungeon I got theoretically 30 badges. When I came out of the dungeon I had 1 token in my bag…. 1 token…
No money or exp either though at first I had information about 30 badges, 13s and 88k experience point. (And yes I’m not lying 30 badges for the first run).
I decided to address this as a separate issue. Since quite some time I am rewarded awesome 6s50c (and always an item for level 30) for completing story mode dungeons for the first time. These dungeons were: Crucible of Eternity, Arah, Sorrow’s Embrace, Twilight Arbour. My friends (with whom I were in the party) got 26s50c for each of those runs and an item matching the level of the dungeon.
Things got even worse yesterday. I did 2 story modes (2 different and for the first time), for the second run I got outstanding 2s50c. My friends all got 26s50c.
I don’t know if it’s a bug but it definitely looks like one and I feel a bit upset about this 1 gold that I should earn for the last few days yet I never will.
Kitten what you just wrote is ridiculous. Not only explorables are broken but story modes too. Yesterday for completing CoF story mode (for the first time) i got 2s60c (each of my friends got 26s). I don’t even want to start doing explorables in this situation.
But yeah it all works pretty well. THe patch fixed it all right….
Okay so just to give you a proof. 2s60c from Citadel of Flame story mode. so much fun. I wonder how many tokens can drop for me from explorable… (-2) ?
I wonder when someone from the Arena team will answer this issue. I am afraid to even start doing explorables. Today I did another story mode dungeon and got 6s50c while my friends got 26s… we did 5 dungeons together. It’s so cool that they got more than 1 gold while I got around 42silver -.- Probably I will be bugged all the same in explorables….
I haven’t done any explorable dungeons yet because I am simply worried. I did 4 different dungeons on story mode (AC, CM, Twilight Arbour, Arah) and from the last three I got 6s as an award. I did all those instances with my 2 friends and they got 26.5s from each. Now I am afraid that the same issue will happen on explorable modes for me. I DO hope that something will be done about this (at least admitted that there is a problem and we can hope for any fixing). I also wonder if there are any player logs or anything that will help all of us claim the in-game currencies that we deserve but never received.
Today I’m going to have another SM run hopefully, so I will post some screens and updates on the matter, because some people claim that usually Party leader, Player 3 and PLayer 4 in party claim more prizes for a dungeon than PLayer 1 and 2 from the party. It seems true for me, since in AC (where I was party leader) i got 26s and for the rest of dungeons (where I was first invited, so I was “Player 1”) I got 6s for each.
To add up to this topic, I will say that most of the time i get 6s for finishing dungeon in Story Mode. And it doesn’t matter whi one – CM, Twilight Arbor, Arah… while my friends got EVERY TIME 26s. It’s a bit sad when you think about how much money I got for doing story modes… -.-
Okay so I have a little update. I tried the quest again and this time it worked. I applied to things: first I ran like crazy to each tower and just pulled all the mobs from the inside and around each tower, second – after blowing up third tower in the “clear the beach” part I made sure that Veteran was the last to go as Maeryne suggested. It worked (finished it around 10 minutes ago).
So good luck and maybe combining these two things will help you ^^
Sometimes it is (as I heard) a matter of the server as well. I did mine quest on Aurora Glade.
After blowing up all 3 towers (and clearing out mobs everywhere) I do the point “clear the beach” it’s ticked as done and the quest log never updates (nor any cinematic appears). I tried pulling out all the mobs from the towers, etc. and it doesn’t change anything. Also the bull stays on top of the Sylvari tent with 3 npcs of Wyld Hunt
Well I talked to some people (and i mean specialists on computers) and what they said make more sense then what I get here unfortunately. The Kepler architecture of cards 6xxx is not optimilized for guild wars and that may also be the reason why your old card (which does not have it) performs better. Nonetheless all these are speculations for me unless I read an answer from tech support. Cheers
